Caster Classes Profession Combination

• Tailoring + Engineering

Tailoring provides casters with BiS gear and daily cooldown crafts, such as Primal Mooncloth. Engineering offers exclusive items like bombs, gnome sabers, Zapthrottle Mote Extractor, and powerful Engineering-specific Tinkers. You can also use Engineering for farming. Absorb Gas Clouds in the wild using Zapthrottle Mote Extractor to obtain Primals or Mote.

Recommended General Combination

• Engineering + Alchemy

Engineering provides convenience and farming capabilities, while Alchemy provides a stable passive income through the daily transmute cooldown of Transmute Specialization.

Multi-Character Strategy

If you have multiple main characters, you can divide them into farming characters and crafting characters. Farming characters can learn Herbalism, while Mining is used to gather high-value materials in TBC. Crafting characters learn Alchemy and Tailoring to gain unique buffs, and you can generate passive income by using cooldown skills during daily logins.

Farming Methods

Solo Farms

In Winterspring, killing High Chief Winterfall‘s Cave yields Winterfall Firewater, approximately 15 gold per bottle, with a 6-minute respawn time. You can use a targeting macro and instant cast spells, along with an addon to track the chief‘s spawn. During the cooldown period, kill nearby Winterfall Ursa to obtain more Firewater and Winterfall E‘ko.

You can also travel to Western Plaguelands to kill Scarlet Spellbinders, as they have a chance to drop a recipe: Formula: Enchant Weapon - Crusader. The recipe is worth over 500 gold and may increase. It is expected to drop every 3-4 hours, with an average yield of about 150 gold per hour.

Group Farming

The first farm is Scholomance. Your goal is Dark Runes, which currently drop primarily from bosses, not mobs. Each Dark Rune is worth about 20 gold and remains a BiS item in TBC.

Alternatively, you can go to Winterspring and accept Luck Be With You Quest to collect three types of E‘ko. Since all party members can loot them, this farm is uncontested and highly profitable.

• Frostmaul E‘ko: Dropped by Frostmaul Giant, each worth about 8 gold.
• Winterfall E‘ko: Dropped by Winterfall Ursa, which also drops Winterfall Firewater.
• Chillwind E‘ko: It can be drops from Chillwind Chimaera and used for frost resistance gear.

Investing

Investing is the fastest way to earn gold, but you‘ll need some initial capital and to analyze supply and demand. In TBC Pre-patch, demand for certain WoW Classic 20th Anniversary materials will surge, while supply won‘t suddenly increase, thus increasing their value.

You can trade and hold them while their value is currently low, then sell them when demand rises after TBC Pre-patch or expansion launches.

First, It is recommend you to invest in herbs, as many players will need large quantities to quickly level up their alchemy skill in TBC, increasing their value.

Similar to herbs are ores, such as Thorium Ore, Mithril Ore, and Iron Ore. Demand will increase because Jewelcrafting profession will be available in TBC Pre-patch, as players will need large amounts of WoW 20th Anniversary ores to reach the profession level.

WoW Token

Data mining suggests that WoW Tokens may be introduced for TBC Anniversary, but this has not been officially confirmed. For players who enjoy earning gold, WoW Tokens are not a bad thing. They allow players to exchange in-game gold for game time, essentially allowing them to play the game for free.

Currently, It is the end of Phase 6 of WoW 20th Anniversary, and farming efficiency may be low. A more efficient strategy is to aim to enter TBC with 1000-2000 gold, then take advantage of the higher farming efficiency in the early stages of the expansion (quickly earning the remaining gold needed for flying mounts). Following the pre-patch, the game is expected to release new phases according to the regular WoW update schedule. You can choose to continue playing your converted WoW Classic 20th Anniversary character, or create a new character to try the new race!

The two new races added to TBC Anniversary are Blood Elves for Horde and Draenei for Alliance, with Draenei consistently being extremely popular among Alliance players.

Why Do You Need To Level As A Draenei?

How To Level Up?

In Anniversary TBC, the level cap is 70, and the leveling system has undergone several changes compared to WoW Classic, aiming to optimize and enrich the expansion's playability.

These changes include adjustments to XP required for leveling up, and variations in quest levels and quantities. Based on this, leveling up in all races, including Draenei, can be divided into three phases:

Level 1-10

Due to Draenei's popularity, you'll expect to encounter many players in the starting area after the pre-patch begins, making competition more intense.

In the early stages, your strength will be relatively weak, so it's best to avoid competing with others in the capital city. Instead, try to use magical teleportation or find a waypoint within the city to travel to less populated zones to farm XP.

Early on, earning XP primarily involves completing quests. To improve efficiency, you can pick up all quests in your current town and complete them one by one according to their distance, avoiding the wasted time of repeatedly picking up and delivering quests.

Alternatively, you can refer to the following quest guide:

• Pick up and complete the quest "You Survived!" from Megalon in Ammen Vale.
• Complete more Ammen Vale quests to reach level 5.
• Start completing related quests on Travel to Azure Watch and Odesyus's Landing until you reach level 10.

Level 10-60

Pre-patch Content

The pre-patch includes the new expansion's systems, but not all TBC content itself. For TBC, the pre-patch will include:

Outland will remain locked during the pre-patch period until the official release of the expansion. The official release date for WoW TBC Anniversary has not yet been announced. Character Transfers

The official period for players to transfer characters is from November 25th, 2025 to January 12th, 2026. Players can transfer their characters from Anniversary Realms to Classic Era Realms for free during this period, or enter TBC Anniversary Realms, and there is no intermediate option. All WoW Classic 20th Anniversary gold, items, and levels will be retained.

Hardcore

The official statement indicates that no TBC hardcore servers will be created. Regarding the handling of hardcore characters during WoW Classic 20th Anniversary, players can choose to transfer their hardcore characters to a regular (non-hardcore) anniversary server during the transfer window. The character will then continue playing TBC content as a regular character.

Balance Changes

The skill changes for TBC Anniversary are being tested on PTR.

Bloodlust And Heroism

Their effects have changed from affecting only Shaman's party to affecting the entire raid. A new 10-minute exhaustion debuff has been added for all teammates. Crucially, this debuff only resets after a boss kill or a wipe.

This will greatly simplify raid progression, as Bloodlust and Heroism can be used on the entire raid once per boss fight, eliminating the need to swap Shaman parties to maximize benefits, while Shamans remain crucial due to their totem buffs and high demand.

Terocone Adjustments

The spawn rate and additional spawn points for Terocone have been increased. This is because in TBC Classic, Terocone was primarily used to craft one of the most important potions, Haste Potions. Due to its low refresh rate, it is often in short supply, resulting in a high gold value. Coupled with the even larger player base on the anniversary Mega Realms, this change is necessary.

Attunements Simplified

Heroic Dungeon

A player's first character still needs to complete the introductory questline by grinding the corresponding reputation to Revered. However, upon completion, a Bind on Battle.net Account key can be traded and mailed to an alt. The alt only needs to reach Friendly reputation to use the key to enter Heroic dungeon.

Raid

A player's first character still needs to complete the full raid introductory quest chain. Once completed, the raid will be unlocked for all characters on the player's Battle.net account.

This significantly lowers the barrier to entry and effort required to participate in high-difficulty content with alts, preventing burnout from repeatedly grinding introductory quests.

Raid Difficulty Adjustments

All TBC raids will be in their post-nerfed state upon release.

Tier 4

Tier 4 includes Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, and Magtheridon's Lair. These raids have undergone multiple nerfs, with bosses like Nightbane in Karazhan raids having their health and damage significantly reduced.

Tier 5

Serpent Shrine Cavern and Tempt Keep raids have been significantly nerfed. Boss and trash mob health has been drastically reduced, with some monsters and bosses even being nerfed by 40%.

Lady Vashj's final phase mind control has been removed, and Kael'thas Sunstrider fight has been shortened. Several other boss mechanics have also been modified.

Tier 6

Tier 6 changes primarily affect Black Temple and Mount Hyjal. Because they are inherently easier than Tier 5, the nerfs are less significant. The most major nerf is to the fight against M'uru, with his main body and related units having their health reduced.

Personal Rating system replaces Team Rating, with each character starting at 1500 rating. Each character can have their rating reset to 1500 weekly using gold (only if it's below 1500).

Simplified PvP Gear Acquisition

Except for shoulders (requiring 2000 rating) and weapons (requiring 1700 rating), all other PvP gear has no rating requirements and can be traded using Arena Points and Honor.

Faction Reputation PvP gear will be sold at the start of Season 1, and its set bonuses have been merged with Honor gear, allowing players to mix and match gear and enjoy set effects.

QoL Improvements

Guild Banks will be available from day one of TBC Anniversary launches, allowing players to store gold and items.

If the expansion launches in mid-January, a two-week pre-patch would coincide with New Year's Day, which would be inconvenient for both the development team and players. An earlier, longer pre-patch would allow players to enjoy the new content during Christmas and New Year holidays.

Furthermore, mid-January is considered the dead of winter, and releasing a large expansion at this time would better maintain player engagement.

Specific Date Predictions

All pre-patches for Classic are released on Tuesdays. Therefore, several Tuesdays in early December could be the official release dates for pre-patches, namely December 2nd, December 9th, and December 16th.

December 16th is the most likely release date, as it marks approximately four weeks from that date to mid-January, forming a complete pre-patch cycle.

The official release date for TBC Classic Anniversary is January 15th or 16th. This date almost perfectly matches the original release date of January 16, 2007, fitting the anniversary theme.

Furthermore, data mining reveals a January 15th date marker in WoW Classic 20th, though its specific content is unknown, it's highly likely related to an expansion release.

Moreover, major expansions for WoW Classic 20th Anniversary are typically released on Thursdays, and January 15th happens to be a Thursday.

Unrelenting Rallying Cry Of The Dragonslayer Buff

Currently, in WoW Classic 20th Anniversary, all characters automatically receive a powerful World buff called Unrelenting Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer upon login.

The buff's effects are as follows:

• Increases spell critical strike chance by 10%.
• Increases melee and ranged critical strike chance by 5%.
• Provides 140 attack power.

It cannot stack with the regular Rallying Cry of the Dragon Slayer, cannot be stored by Chronoboon Displacer, and disappears in dungeons and battlegrounds, but the effect is retained after death in open-world maps. Players can choose to disable this buff at any Innkeeper.

This buff also applies to Anniversary Hardcore Realm. It significantly reduces the challenge of Hardcore mode, providing an excellent opportunity to level up a Hardcore character.

The appearance of this powerful, one-week-limited buff may be a signal that a pre-patch announcement for The Burning Crusade Classic is imminent.

This buff has appeared during the week of November 17th, and the official announcement of the pre-patch is likely to follow the week after it ends, around the end of November or beginning of December. This aligns with the predicted mid-December release schedule mentioned above.

How To Prepare For TBC Classic Anniversary?

The arrival of TBC is still some time away. Although this period might be a bit boring, you can do some simple things to prepare for TBC.

You need to reserve at least 20,000 WoW Classic 20th Anniversary gold for TBC. Firstly, you'll need a flying mount for questing in Outland and entering raids. Additionally, your initial gear, gems, and consumables will all require gold.

In the early stages of TBC, the demand for materials will be high. You should start stockpiling WoW Classic 20th Anniversary materials now to craft items that will increase your TBC profession levels. If you have enough time, you can also train profession alt characters, such as Tailoring, Engineer, and Enchanter.

Accumulate Sufficient Gold

As we know from the previous Burning Crusade Classic content, sufficient gold not only helps you level up faster but also helps you acquire and train flying mounts.

If your current character doesn't belong to any of these classes, that's okay. You can create a new character immediately or after the transfer begins, and have your old character assist it while you play, although this requires more effort.

Stockpile Materials For Changing Your Profession

Like classes, the professions that provide the most benefit differ in each expansion, but fortunately, changing them doesn't require creating a new character; simply learn the new profession and level it up.

To craft beneficial items based on your profession, you'll need to consume different materials. Therefore, it's recommended that you start checking existing TBC guides now and farm or exchange for these items.

Here's a recommended profession selection strategy for TBC Classic Anniversary: first learn Mining and level it up to obtain materials yourself to increase your Engineering level and save gold. Afterward, you can abandon Mining and learn Enchanting.

Understanding TBC Classic Content Beforehand

While there will be many differences in details, the phase releases and new content of TBC Classic Anniversary are at least broadly consistent with TBC Classic. Therefore, you can prepare based on TBC Classic gameplay and guides.

Hoarding Gold

Pre-patch events typically last only 2–4 weeks, making it difficult even for new players with experience boosts to complete leveling, gear progression, professions, and gold farming within that period. Many players underestimate the significant amount of gold needed to remain competitive in TBC.

To get off to a good start in TBC, you'll need approximately 20,000 WoW Classic 20th Anniversary gold for your each character. This money needs to be used for flying mounts, epic flying mounts, early-game high-quality gear, enchanting, and consumables. Accelerated Leveling

The pre-patch greatly improves overall efficiency. The total experience required to level from 20 to 60 is reduced by 15%, and the experience gained from all quests is increased. Additionally, all elite mobs are converted to normal mobs, making questing routes - especially those involving elite zones - smoother and faster.

Furthermore, TBC Classic increases the number of available quests and slightly tweaks some Dungeons, making them faster to complete and improving item drop rates. The level required to obtain a Mount is reduced from 40 to 30, significantly reducing early-game map exploration time. All of these factors accelerate the leveling process. Overall, the leveling time from 20 to 60 will be shortened by approximately 35%.

Furthermore, data mining indicates that TBC Anniversary will probably introduce a character level boost service (not free), and it will most likely be released alongside a pre-patch.

Class Changes And New Talents

TBC Talents and spell updates will make leveling many classes faster, with shorter health and mana regeneration times.

This makes AoE leveling more efficient for mages, as Blizzard is affected by Haste stat in TBC, and Mana Shield absorbs all types of damage, not just physical damage.

New Race Unlocks

The pre-patch will unlock the new Horde race, Blood Elf, and Alliance race, Draenei. This means both factions can choose the new Paladin and Shaman classes. Players can immediately experience the new Starting Zones, which have excellent storylines and good loot.

Quality Of Life Updates

Meeting Stones will be reworked, and only two players need to be near the stone to summon the entire party to the dungeon entrance.

Eastern Plaguelands World PVP Guide

How To Play?

The goal of PvP in Eastern Plaguelands is to compete for control of up to four towers: Crown Guard Tower, Eastwall Tower, Northpass Tower, and Plaguewood Tower. Controlling a tower grants bonuses to the faction, which in turn increases damage against hostile undead in the zone.

• Horde quest available: Emmisary Gormok
• Alliance quest available: Emmisary Whitebeard

Tower capture is similar to a seesaw battle. To capture and maintain control of a tower, the faction must have more PVP-enabled players on the same side (type /PVP_ON in the chat). When the capture bar reaches full, the faction has successfully captured the tower.

Buffs And Rewards

Each tower controlled increases your faction's damage against undead (1% for one tower, 5% for four towers). This buff applies to all members in Eastern Plaguelands and Stratholme, but not within Naxxramas.

In addition, each tower has unique effects:

• Crown Guard Tower: Located in the southern part of Eastern Plaguelands, controlling the tower grants the faction access to a graveyard north of the tower, making it easier to respawn there after a death.
• Eastwall Tower: Near Light's Hope Chapel. Controlling this tower will periodically send NPC reinforcements to Northpass Tower (regardless of whether Northpass is controlled or not).
• Northpass Tower: To the north, this tower contains an interactive object that grants a 30-minute +5% hit chance buff when used by a player of the same faction.
• Plaguewood Tower: To the northwest, controlling this tower unlocks a Ghost Flight Master, allowing players of that faction to quickly travel between the four towers on a special flying mount, allowing for rapid reinforcements.

Strategy

World PvP in Eastern Plaguelands clearly requires strategic considerations. The four towers provide different benefits and therefore have varying importance.

Defending Towers

Crown Guard Tower is the easiest tower to defend. Because of its close spawn point, even if it is destroyed, it can be quickly returned to the battle line. It's a costly undertaking for the opposing faction to capture, but once captured, it's virtually impossible to lose, making it a highly recommended tower.

Plaguewood Tower is highly strategic, providing quick support to the other three towers and effectively strengthening their defenses.

Offensive Towers

Northpass Tower provides a significant hit chance bonus, while Eastwall Tower helps your faction capture Northpass Tower.

The importance of towers is ranked Crown Guard Tower > Plaguewood Tower > Eastwall Tower > Northpass Tower. However, controlling multiple towers simultaneously can sometimes be more valuable than defending a single tower, especially when targeting an enemy tower in a vulnerable position.

Silithus World PVP Guide

How To Play?

PvP quests in Silithus are distinct from those in Eastern Plaguelands. The primary focus here is item collection. Silithyst geysers are scattered throughout Silithus map. Players can interact with them to collect Silithyst.

Once a player collects Silithyst, they are marked as PvP players. While carrying Silithyst, their movement speed is slowed, though some speed-up abilities are generally still usable.

While carrying a Silithyst, players cannot use mounts. If they take damage while carrying Silithyst, they will drop it, creating a Silithyst Mound on the ground that other players can pick up. Each player can only carry one Silithyst at a time, so after collecting it once, they must return to deliver it before they can collect it again.

Each faction has a Silithyst Extractor on Silithus, where players must bring their harvested Silithyst back for delivery. The first faction to reach 200 Silithyst deliveries is considered victorious, gaining the victory status and associated regional buffs.

Rewards

Personal Rewards

For individual players, each Silithyst delivery grants +10 Cenarion Circle reputation and 198 Honor Points. After delivering Silithyst, players also receive a buff called Traces of Silithyst, which lasts for 30 minutes and increases melee and spell damage by 5%. Successfully completing the entire quest will earn you rewards including experience, potions, and WoW Classic 20th Anniversary gold.

Victorious Faction Rewards

When a faction reaches the 200 Silithyst delivery mark first, they gain a Cenarion Favor bonus in Silithus region and Ahn'Qiraj Raid, increasing Cenarion Circle reputation gained from monster kills by 25%.

This bonus persists for the duration of the faction's victory until the opposing faction completes its 200 Silithyst delivery and reclaims victory.

Silithus PVP Strategy

Compared to Eastern Plaguelands, Silithus PVP is significantly more ruthless. It doesn't encourage you to diligently complete transport tasks, but rather encourages you to intercept other players. Therefore, this PVP mission requires cooperation from your team, and you should keep in mind the following points:

Escort

Players carrying Silithyst are often limited in speed and easily intercepted, so organizing an escort is crucial. Members with speed and stealth should handle transport, as well as conduct sneak attacks and interceptions.

Interception

Ambushes are most likely to occur in the middle (about the same distance from both Silithyst Extractors) or near your team's delivery point. Escort members should secure these areas in advance. If your team approaches the victory delivery point, you can send more members to disrupt the opposing team.

Naxxramas is a trial in itself, and to complete it, you'll need Tier 3 gear. Tier 3 gear represents the best craftable gear in WoW 20th Anniversary Classic Phase 6. Let's take a look at how to collect it.

Tier 3 Sets

Each Tier 3 set has different components, and possessing 2, 4, 6, and 8 pieces of equipment grants bonuses. In addition to the standard eight-piece set, rings dropped by Kel'Thuzad also count towards the set bonus.

How To Unlock Tier 3 Set?

The Tier 3 set is derived from Desecrated tokens dropped by Naxxramas bosses. Different bosses drop different Class tokens. However, before crafting Tier 3 gear, you must complete a prerequisite quest, Echoes of War.

This quest can be accepted before entering Naxxramas raid. Commander Eligor Dawnbringer in Light's Hope Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands requires you to kill specific monsters in Naxxramas raid:

Naxxramas is the most difficult dungeon. Building a full set of Tier 3 gear is nearly impossible with random groups alone. It's best to join a stable group familiar with Naxxramas' mechanics.

Naxxramas's minions are more deadly than the bosses, especially Death Knight Legion and Abominations in Military Quarter, who pose a significant threat. Survival is paramount to navigating this raid. Even non-tank classes should forgo some pure damage-dealing gear in favor of stamina and armor.

At the beginning of the raid, no one had Tier 3 gear. They relied primarily on rare cold resistance gear and a few dungeon drops. In the mid-game, use Frozen Rune dropped in Naxxramas to craft epic Frost Resistance sets.

You can use the following gear to tackle the Naxxramas raid:

Whether you from Alliance or Horde, you can earn reputation with these neutral factions by completing quests, thereby increasing your reputation level and receiving the associated rewards.

About Argent Dawn

This neutral faction possesses a strong sense of justice and is dedicated to protecting Azeroth from evil. In-game, members of the faction do their daily work at Plaguelands, involves protecting Lordaeron from Scourge.

In terms of backstory, Argent Dawn originated from Order of the Silver Hand. However, after the death of its main leader, Alexandros Mograine, the organization gradually fell apart and lost sight of its original purpose.

Thus, Lord Maxwell Tyrosus, one of the key members, left and founded Argent Dawn. The remaining Order of the Silver Hand then became Scarlet Crusade.

Compared to Scarlet Crusade, Argent Dawn is more open and inclusive, and possesses a more fair and peaceful approach. However, the two organizations currently maintain an uneasy partnership.

How To Earn Argent Dawn Reputation?

All quests and activities that earn Argent Dawn reputation are concentrated in Plaguelands, with Chillwind Camp and The Bulwark in the west and Light's Hope Chapel in the east.

Please note that when you want to farm reputation in Plaguelands, you need to travel to the location corresponding to your faction:

• Alliance: Chillwind Camp
• Horde: Bulwark at the junction of Western Plaguelands and Tirisfal Glades

Kill Enemies You Encounter In Plaguelands

Unlock encounters and defeat enemies throughout your available Plaguelands area to increase your reputation. Please note that enemies of different rarity or levels will only grant you a limited amount of reputation.

• Undead mobs in Western Plaguelands will grant reputation until your reputation reaches 3000.
• Undead mobs in Eastern Plaguelands will grant reputation until your reputation reaches 6000.
• All elite monsters in Plaguelands and common monsters in Scholomance and Stratholme will grant reputation until your reputation reaches 12000.
• Bosses in Scholomance and Stratholme will grant reputation until your reputation reaches Exalted.

Complete Plaguelands Quests

This zone offers quests to complete, which can raise your Argent Dawn reputation rank to Exalted. Other zones, such as Blackfathom Deeps and Desolace, may also offer some quests.

Special Cauldron Quests

Scourge has placed four cauldrons on four farms in Western Plaguelands to inflict the plague. After completing the quests leading to The Scourge Cauldrons, you'll need to alter each cauldron through subsequent repeatable quests to thwart Scourge's evil plans.

The four farms are:

• Felstone Field
• Dalson's Tears
• The Writhing Haunt
• Gahrron's Withering

After completing each repeatable quest, you need to find and speak with the following NPCs:

• Alliance: Alchemist Arbington in Chillwind Camp
• Horde: Apothecary Dithers at The Bulwark

These NPCs will give you a Glass Focuser, which you can use to obtain the following materials from undead monsters:

• Osseous Agitator
• Somatic Intensifier
• Ectoplasmic Resonator

You can then exchange Runecloth and Arcane Quickener from other regular NPCs by WoW Classic 20th Anniversary gold, then find all cauldrons and modify their properties.

You gain 25 reputation points for each cauldron modification. Note that Arcane Quickener only lasts 30 minutes. Runecloth can also be obtained by killing undead monsters.

The materials required to change the properties of each cauldron are as follows:

Always Equip Scourgestones

After your character reaches level 50, you can complete the quick quest "Argent Dawn Commission" at accessible Argent Dawn camps to obtain an Argent Dawn Commission and equip it.

Equipping this item will also reward you with additional Scourgestones when you kill monsters in Plaguelands.

After obtaining a certain number of Scourgestones and turning them in, you'll receive 25 reputation points and an Argent Dawn Valor Token, which can be used to gain another 25 reputation points.

• Minion's Scourgestone - From Undead monsters level 50 and above - Turn in 20 at a time.
• Invader's Scourgestone - From Undead monsters level 53 and above - Turn in 10 at a time.
• Corruptor's Scourgestone - From Elite Undead monsters and bosses - Turn in 1 at a time.

What Are Argent Dawn Reputation Rewards?

After reaching Revered Argent Dawn reputation, turn in 10 Argent Dawn Valor Tokens to the quartermaster at your camp to receive the following single-resistance shoulder enchantments:

After reaching Exalted, turn in 25 Argent Dawn Valor Tokens to the quartermaster to unlock the multiple-resistance shoulder enchantment, Chromatic Mantle of the Dawn.

Other rewards will require redemption from the quartermaster or will be awarded as you farm reputation. Note that after Phase 6 launches, you can earn even more rewards by obtaining Frost Resistance recipes and completing quests.

After completing reputation farming for a particular faction, you can continue to earn new faction reputation in zones belonging to other factions. However, completing new raids will be even more important after Phase 6 begins!

WoW Classic's 20th Anniversary Phase 6 is about to begin, with Naxxramas, the final major raid in Classic, serving as the core of Phase 6. Naxxramas' 15 bosses are divided into 6 zones, with Deathknight Wing generally considered the most challenging. This zone demands extremely high positioning, coordination, and DPS, requiring precise team tactics to successfully defeat them.

This zone contains three bosses: Instructor Razuvious, Gothik the Harvester, and Four Horsemen. While Four Horsemen are the most challenging, Instructor Razuvious is the first boss players will face and will drop some WoW Classic 20th Anniversary gold and Tier 3 gear. While relatively straightforward, if you don't understand the mechanics of this boss, your team could end up getting wiped repeatedly.

Instructor Razuvious Mechanics

This boss's mechanics are unique. Due to the extremely high damage dealt by his basic attacks and abilities, no single class can withstand them. Therefore, conventional tanks cannot handle the boss. Priests must use Mind Control to influence Deathknight Understudies surrounding Instructor Razuvious, thereby withstanding the boss's immense damage. Therefore, the skill level of the priest in charge of Mind Control directly determines the difficulty of this boss.

Team Requirements: at least two Priests and four Tanks, and in the situation they don't lack WoW 20th Anniversary Gold, it's best to prepare some potions.

Instructor Razuvious's Skills

• Basic Attacks: No tank can withstand Instructor Razuvious's basic attacks without using a Shield Wall.
• Unbalancing Strike: Can eliminate any Main Tank in top gear who isn't defending.
• Disrupting Shout: Targets all players within the boss's line of sight, draining their current mana and dealing an equal amount of damage. Any class requiring mana will need to avoid it by blocking vision.

Deathknight Understudies

The boss's abilities are too much for any tank to handle, so the heart of this battle, Deathknight Understudies, will be the true tanks.

This battle will involve four level 60 Deathknight Understudies. Priests can use Mind Control to control them, granting them three abilities.

• Attack: Performs a normal attack on the current target.
• Taunt: Forces the taunted target to attack the taunter, with a 20-second cooldown. (A taunted boss cannot be Out of Taunted until another Deathknight Understudy taunts them.)

Once a cleric is freed from Mind Control, they cannot be mind controlled again for one minute. Therefore, at least two clerics are required to take turns controlling the clerics and fighting the boss. For unskilled players, four clerics are recommended.

Battle Positions

Four Deathknight Understudies are stationed at the four inner corners of the prototype arena, while Instructor Razuvious patrols the arena.

The priest, responsible for controlling an Understudy in the first round, will use Mind Soothe to approach a Deathknight Understudy on the right side of the ramp when the boss patrols to the inner arena. Then, use Mind Soothe to control it. Immediately, order Deathknight Understudy to cast a Shield Wall and taunt the boss.

The other tanks will pull the remaining three Deathknight Understudies to a slightly further back on the ramp, as shown in the image. The priest will then control the Understudy to stand on the ramp and pull the boss down.

The healer should stand behind the right wall to block the boss's view and allow them to heal the off-tank and Deathknight Understudy holding the boss. The main tank should stand between the holding Understudy and the healer, waiting for Understudy to break free from the priest's control and taunt the boss.

Melee DPS classes can simply stand behind the boss and damage it once it reaches its designated location. Ranged DPS classes with mana, such as mages, hunters, and warlocks, should stand against the left wall and damage it. Three seconds before the boss casts Disrupting Shout, all ranged DPS should hide behind the left wall, wait for the spell to finish, and then return to damage it. Repeat this cycle until the boss is killed.

These are the basic positioning for this boss fight. Next, let's discuss some tips to keep in mind when killing the boss.

Tip 1

The priest controlling Understudy in the first round will inevitably be hit by an Disrupting Shout because of their positioning. Therefore, this priest should deplete their mana before engaging the enemy to avoid being killed instantly by an Disrupting Shout because of excessive mana reserves. If the priest has WoW Classic 20th Anniversary gold, it's a good idea to prepare some Superior Mana Potions in advance for emergencies.

Tip 2

A priest's mind control lasts for a maximum of one minute. When the mind control effect is about to end, another priest must begin mind controlling the next Understudy and be ready to take over the taunt. The priest who has been taken over can press ESC key to actively break the control of the Understudy. The main tank then taunts the uncontrolled Understudy, and the priest selects another Understudy to prepare for the mind control transition. This prevents the Understudy from breaking control prematurely and dying prematurely from continuous damage.

Tip 3

To reduce the chance of misses and resistance from mind control, as well as premature Understudy breakouts, it is recommended to assign two priests to improve their hit rate and max out the second row of Shadow talents, Shadow Focus.

Tip 4

In addition to the two healers assigned to each of the two off-tanks holding Understudies, and the two healers assigned to the main tank who will be recovering an uncontrolled Understudy, the remaining healers can be assigned to Deathknight Understudy, who is responsible for the boss. Melee and ranged DPS will not take any damage if they make no mistakes.

This is a relatively special boss battle. Since the main character of this battle is not the player, as long as you master the mechanism, you can defeat this BOSS even if the team's equipment is very poor.
