    Deathspeaker's Pendant

    While Black River at least enhances Corpse Explosion, Deathspeaker's Pendant is almost completely useless against Season 10 Necromancer.

    This perk grants you Blood Surge ability, which deals 103 damage to enemies by unleashing a mini-nova on your minions. This damage increases by 10% for each target consumed, up to a maximum of 50%.

    This ring automatically casts Raise Skeleton, Corpse Explosion, and Corpse Tendrils on nearby corpses, creating a useful skill cycle for continuous damage output. However, if you're very selective in your skill rotation, it can actually limit you.

    The Mortacrux

    As a gear affix, The Mortacrux isn't a bad Chaos Perk. It grants a 48% chance to create a rotten Skeletal Simulacrum when you consume a corpse, which then explodes upon death, dealing 548 damage.

    Thus, The Mortacrux increases the chance of Corpse Explosion dealing double damage and increases Hewed Flesh level. However, when applied to specific builds, its synergy isn't very good and could even undermine the overall build.

    The Unmaker

    This armor actually originally had advantages, providing Soulrift with increased duration, making it more useful in Shadowblight Necromancer builds.

    How Does The Bug Work?

    You just need to simply activate any Nightmare Dungeon Sigil, regardless of affix (Strongrooms preferred). You don't need to actually complete the demon dungeon, but rather teleport to the various Lair Boss pre-dungeons.

    If you have some weaker Nightmare Dungeon Sigils, use them at this opportunity, but be sure not to complete Nightmare Dungeon, or you won't be able to exploit this glitch.

    When you activate a Nightmare Dungeon Sigil, Strongroom entrances can appear in small entrance areas where they normally wouldn't. This effectively adds potential spawn points to all pre-boss dungeons.

    There's a chance that a Strongroom entrance will spawn on the minimap before you enter a boss room. If one appears, complete it immediately. If you're lucky, you might even find multiple Strongrooms before Lair Bosses, which makes it more efficient if you use a team approach.

    Remember that this is random; you might not receive a Strongroom on every floor. You don't need to defeat any Lair Bosses to receive a Strongroom. Simply enter their dungeon and search for Strongroom. If none appears, teleport directly to the next pre-boss dungeon.

    This method greatly increases the number of Horadric Strongrooms you can encounter per unit of time, compared to running full Nightmare Dungeons or farming Undercity and Infernal Hordes.

    After you defeat and claim Horadric Strongrooms, don't complete or clear the original Nightmare dungeon. Instead, continue teleporting to other boss locations. Because Sigil is still active, these smaller dungeons will continue to have a chance to spawn Strong Rooms. These smaller dungeons spawn very quickly, so there's no need to log off to reset them; simply teleport in a loop.

    Furthermore, the enemy difficulty in Horadric Strongrooms is similar to that of a regular Nightmare dungeon—not too difficult, allowing you to quickly clear them. If your build can instantly defeat them, your efficiency will be very high.

    How To Increase Efficiency?

    However, this unique item is incredibly clunky to use, as you can't attack during the reload animation, severely disrupting the game's pacing and feel. Furthermore, even with massive attack speed stacks, the reload animation can't be shortened or canceled.

    While the bonus is high, it's still modest compared to other top-tier class builds, which easily reach this damage bonus. Perhaps people won't consider using it until Orphan Maker offers a 3000% damage bonus. At least on the PTR, its clunky controls can't be compensated for with Shanghai.

    Chaos Perks

    All Rogue's Chaos Perks are generally flawed, and they're not as user-friendly as Druid and Sorcerer's Perks.

    Unpredictable Alchemy (Magic)

    This Chaos Perk grants a random infusion to your basic abilities, increasing damage by up to 40%.

    Its random nature makes it difficult to build specifically for it, and with some Diablo 4 items already allowing you to infuse certain energy, like the rogue-specific Coldclip Aspect, which makes Unpredictable Alchemyx somewhat awkward.

    Chaotic Grenades (Legendary)

    Your Stun Grenades skill unleashes a Chaotic Burst, dealing bonus damage and restoring some energy.

    Many Chaos Perks this time around involve Chaotic Burst, but no build has yet effectively utilized Chaotic Grenades for maximum damage. It's not particularly well-suited for Rogues, perhaps more suited to Barbarians.

    Enervated Strikes (Rare)

    Enervated Strikes eliminate passive energy generation for Rogues, but grant a 100% chance to grant some skills a second attack.

    First and foremost, the downside is that losing energy regeneration is quite devastating. Secondly, skill power can be increased through Tempering system, which is essentially a degraded Skyhunter bow, significantly reducing the uniqueness of this specialization.

    Hit And Run (Unique)

    This perk grants a 50% damage bonus for 5 seconds for every 15 meters you move. This perk stacks, but doesn't refresh. While inactive, it reduces damage by 30%.

    It requires constant movement to maintain damage, disrupting the damage cycle. In contrast, the universal Chaos perks of other classes are more direct and powerful, trading health for damage or treating mana as health.

    During boss fights, you'll sometimes need to stay in the same spot to dodge skills or deal damage, making it difficult to maintain the buff. Furthermore, increasing movement speed requires sacrificing damage on your boots, further weakening the overall power.

    Specialization: Combo Points

    The only positive change to Rogue in Season 10 is the developers' rework of Combo Points. Using basic skills now grants 3 Combo Points, rather than the previous probabilistic triggering.

    This change is intended to encourage players to use basic skills between reloads to maintain Combo Points and execute high-damage core skills. However, the timing issue persists. The fixed reload animation timing doesn't align with the skill rotation rhythm, and even attack speed bonuses can't solve this issue, resulting in choppy control.

    Rogue's Position

    Rogue has been in a weak position since last season, and in Season 10 PTR, Rogue remains at the bottom of the pack during Season 10 testing. This is primarily due to a significant nerf to Rogue Death Trap skill.

    Compared to other builds, this build relies heavily on Diablo 4 items for power, and some playstyles may be difficult to implement because of item attribute conflicts.

    The current meta is focused on single-skill damage, and Rogue's new perks and skills don't synergize effectively with resource generation and consumption. This clashes with the mainstream playstyle and makes it difficult to compete in damage with other classes.

    Should You Choose Rogue?

    Diablo 4 Season 10 is an absolutely insane season. Chaos Perks and Chaos Armor are changing the build strategy this season, bringing some incredibly high-damage builds.

    Currently, Raven Druid is incredibly popular on the PTR, as it can easily reach 150 The Pit. However, its near-infinite damage is because of a bug, a fairly serious one that will probably be fixed soon. Here's a recommended normal but strong build: Ball Lightning Sorcerer.

    Diablo 4 Season 10 primarily buffs Lightning-related abilities. This build was already considered a Tier A build in Seasons 8 and 7, and the new unique item for Season 10 Sorcerer, Galvanic Azurite, further enhances this build, making this build potentially Tier S in Season 10.

    Diablo 4 Season 10 Ball Lightning Sorcerer Build: How To Choose Its Gear And Skills?

    Pros And Cons

    In Diablo 4 Season 9, this build's strengths lie in its high damage and fast farming speed. It's particularly effective in situations with many enemies, such as Infernal Hordes and Chaos Rifts. It also offers decent survivability. Besides being able to teleport away from monsters, you can also use Chaos Perk, Mana Shield, to boost your survivability.

    This build is even highly effective against bosses, as the immunity phase for all lair bosses (including Lilith) has been removed. Now, you can instantly kill them with high damage without having to wait for them to transition. Just unleash all your Ball Lightning upon the boss, and they'll be swiftly annihilated.

    Besides continued changes to Infernal Hordes in Season 10, one area many players will be interested in is Chaos Armor. It's clearly a new type of equipment, so how does it compare to unique items, ancestral unique items, and mythic items?

    What Is Chaos Armor?

    Why Does It Completely Change Builds?

    You know some unique items are incredibly powerful, but they often share a slot with other items, which means you're forced to choose between two excellent unique items. Rogue players will undoubtedly have experienced the dilemma of choosing a helmet.

    Chaos Armor solves this problem to some extent. You can equip a unique helmet, and then your gloves' unique effects are derived from another unique helmet. This allows you to swap out less powerful parts for more powerful ones, resulting in a significant boost.

    Some clever players might try to maximize the multiplier by equipping two items with the same unique effect. Unfortunately, the developers anticipated this and prevented you from equipping two items with the same unique effect, or in other words, from equipping Diablo 4 items with the same name.

    Chaos Rifts

    Chaos Rifts appear randomly throughout Sanctuary. Approaching these areas will unleash a burning horde from Hell. Sealing a Chaos Rift will reward you with Diablo 4 gold, materials, and other rewards. On Torment difficulty, successfully sealing a Chaos Rift has a chance to drop Chaos Armor.
