  • Borderlands 4 Balance Patch Delay & Predicted Nerfs | Bloodletter, Groundbreaker, And OP Builds To Be Fixed

    Posted: Oct 17, 2025

Borderlands 4's balance patch, originally scheduled for October 16th, the 30th day after release, has been delayed until early next week, around Monday or Tuesday. While the announcement is a bit belated, officials say the update will include balance adjustments, performance and stability improvements, and some brand-new gameplay features!

While the balance patch hasn't arrived yet, we can make some predictions. Currently, some overpowered builds are exploiting exploits that will probably be fixed in the next update.

Borderlands 4 Balance Patch Delay & Predicted Nerfs | Bloodletter, Groundbreaker, And OP Builds To Be Fixed

    Likely Fixed Bugs

    Bloodletter

    • Effect: Critical hits with weapons and skills have a chance to cause enemies to bleed, dealing kinetic status damage for a period of time. The bleed effect is affected by the chance of status effects being applied and counts as a status effect itself. This effect stacks.

This is a passive skill in Siren Vex skill tree, and it's currently used by almost all the strongest Vex builds. While it does indeed work as advertised, the problem is that the bleed damage itself counts as skill damage. Therefore, if the bleed damage itself crits, it triggers the passive again, applying new bleeds, creating an infinite bleed loop. This can cause a sudden spike in damage, instantly devastating even the strongest enemies. The developers have explicitly stated they want to fix passive skill recursion, and Bloodletter is a prime example, so it's almost certain to be fixed.

    Groundbreaker Specialization

    • Effect: Non-melee attack damage and shock damage are stored (stored damage: 20%).

Melee attacks and slams deal additional kinetic melee damage based on stored damage, which is consumed (stored damage duration: 5 seconds).

Groundbreaker is the final node in Runner Specialization, requiring 20 points in Runner to unlock. The problem with this skill is that many skill trees offer bonus damage to melee attacks, and this added damage is also considered skill damage. The skill damage is then stored by Groundbreaker, in turn boosting the next melee attack. This creates a cycle that causes melee damage to increase exponentially after a few attacks, until it reaches the damage cap. This is the core of all currently powerful melee builds and another example of an infinite loop, making it highly likely to be used by a player.

    Kickballer And Energy Disc

    • Kickballer Shotgun: Fires a ball with a curved trajectory like a kicked soccer ball. Upon impact, it bounces and explodes, dealing splash elemental damage.
    • Energy Disc Attachment: Fires a bouncing energy disc that deals X damage per bounce and restores 2 rounds of ammunition after 20 seconds.
    • Jakobs Licensed-Part: Critical Hits Will Ricochet Projectiles to Nearby Enemies

The projectiles fired by Kickballer and Maliwan Shotgun (with the Energy Disc attachment) ricochet, allowing them to hit enemies multiple times. Upon a critical hit, Jakobs's ricochet attachment spawns a new, identical projectile. This means that a single projectile can ricochet multiple times, each critical hit spawning new projectiles, which in turn ricochet and critically hit... creating a chain reaction that instantly floods the screen with projectiles. This is the most discussed and game-breaking combination in the community.

    San Saba Songbird

    • Effect: After swapping guns, deal +100% damage for 5 seconds.

This legendary Borderlands 4 pistol's effect may seem unremarkable, but it has two issues. First, the buff actually lasts forever, not 5 seconds. Second, the buff stacks infinitely. This allows players to stack the damage bonus infinitely by repeatedly swapping weapons, quickly reaching the damage cap. This is a very obvious bug and will definitely be fixed.

Vladof Submachine Gun And Flamethrower Underbarrel

Currently, any Vladof submachine gun will have issues when equipped with Flamethrower Underbarrel and using Vladof's "Chance to Fire Additional Projectiles" enhancement. This issue is somewhat similar to the one above: if you repeatedly switch to Flamethrower Underbarrel and back again, the chance of "extra projectiles" will continuously stack. Over hundreds or even thousands of times, each shot from a submachine gun becomes a barrage of bullets without consuming ammunition. This exploit has caused ammunition economy and damage output to spiral out of control.

    Gun Handling Stat

The gun handling stat affects weapon sway, recoil, and accuracy. Higher handling stats mean less sway when aiming, making it easier to control, while lower stats make it more difficult to maintain a steady aim.

However, the current Gun Handling stat incorrectly reduces projectile velocity. This results in some weapons having slower projectiles and being difficult to use when the stat is higher. Conversely, it benefits some Borderlands 4 weapons, such as Bottled Lightning, due to slower projectile velocity.

Powerful Items That Could Be Nerfed (But Not Bugs)

Besides the obvious exploits listed above, there are also some items that could be nerfed due to being too powerful. The most prominent example is Throwing Knife with Penetrator Augment Modifier, which guarantees all attacks for the next 5 seconds will crit after hitting an enemy.

While the knife itself isn't a bug, it's simply very powerful. The real issue is that it amplifies the power of other exploits. While addressing those core exploits is more reasonable than nerfing the knife, it's still possible to nerf it due to its strength.

Powerful Build That Could Be Nerfed

    Rafa With Metal Management Skill

This passive allows him to use no ammunition for 2 seconds after using a skill. Combined with Beam Tossers (Maliwan Shotgun) or Vladof's Taser, it can easily kill bosses.

Vex With Teen Witch (Class Mod)

Combining these two allows the life steal effect to work on shields. Combined with Amp Modifier, this allows for infinite Amp Uptime, as lifesteal restores more shields than it consumes.

If your build relies on any of these mechanics, you can still enjoy it for a few days, but be prepared for a power reduction after the patch and consider backup builds.

If any of your builds are affected by the patch, you can buy Borderlands 4 items quickly and cheaply on IGGM. Borderlands 4 weapon drop rates are very low, and farming for gear yourself can be a time-consuming endeavor.

  • Borderlands 4 Turret Amon Build Guide | Best Weapons, Skills & Firmware Setup

    Posted: Oct 15, 2025

Each generation of Vault Hunters in Borderlands 4 has its own unique characteristics. They have ranged and melee abilities, can fight like a wizard, and can command your minions to attack like a summoner.

Amon, one of the main characters in Borderlands 4, is the largest of them all and wields incredibly cool melee weapons and abilities. If he could hold up a massive shield, I’d almost think Overwatch’s Reinhardt had traveled to Borderlands 4.

Compared to the other three characters, Amon is clearly not as easy to play, but his strength lies in his damage tolerance and decent damage. Here’s a build that excels at mobbing and boss fights: Turret Amon.

Borderlands 4 Turret Amon Build Guide | Best Weapons, Skills & Firmware Setup

    Turret Amon Weapons

    • Atling Gun (legendary heavy weapon): This is the core weapon of this build. It has an extremely high rate of fire, and its bullets automatically track enemies, making it incredibly useful for both clearing monsters and taking down bosses.
    • Hot Slugger (Legendary weapon): High burst damage, useful as a backup Borderlands 4 weapon for self-rescue after being knocked down or activating a Repkit.
    • Kill Spring (Legendary Repkit): Converts 100% of excess damage into Healing Orbs, preventing the need to use Healing Kits when using Heavy weapons. Also useful as a support weapon in multiplayer.
    • Honey Bunches (Epic Heavy ordnance weapon): A boss-only weapon with Shrapnel Rockets and Triple Barrel for extremely high burst damage.

    How To Get Them?

    • Atling Gun: Has a chance to drop from Callous Harbinger of Annihilating Death.
    • Hot Slugger: Can be farmed by killing Callous Harbinger of Annihilating Death boss.
    • Kill Spring: Chance to drop from killing Axemaul (deep inside the Toil of Spoiling Vis, located in Carcadia District of Dominion).
    • Honey Bunches: Drop randomly in the world.

    Enhancement Parts

Weapon enhancement parts prioritize passive stats. Look for any parts with Gun Damage, Gun Splash Damage, Gun Equip Speed, Gun Critical Damage, or Gun Status Effect Damage. These are all acceptable, as these stats also apply to Heavy weapons.

    Firmware Set

    • Gadget Ahoy (3 Pieces): Ordnance Kills grant 20% Damage for 15 seconds, but are not Cores.
    • Get Throwin (1 Piece): Grants 10% Heavy Weapon Damage.
    • Godkiller (1 Piece): Deals 10% bonus damage to Badass enemies.

    Turret Amon Skills

    Calamity (Red Skill Tree)

    Calamity (Red Skill Tree)

    • What Burns Within (Rank 5): Increases Fire Damage
    • Wield the Storm (Rank 5): Increases the damage and duration of Amon status effects.
    • Gut Punch (Rank 1): Weakens enemies, increases damage.
    • Berserk (Rank 5): Increases Cryo, gun, and melee damage, and immunity to slows.
    • There Is Only Red (Rank 3): Extends Berserk duration and increases Cryo damage.

    Vengeance (Blue Skill Tree)

    Vengeance (Blue Skill Tree)

    • Wrath of the Nature (Rank 5): Inflicts Cryo status effects when dealing Ordinance damage.
    • Scorched Kairos (Rank 5): Increases damage and magazine capacity.
    • Tail of the Comet (Rank 9): Core passive. Adds Cryo status effects to heavy weapon ammunition damage.
    • Ancient Ways (Rank 3): Increases Cryo damage.
    • Icy Rage (Rank 5): Increases gun damage after an enemy dies from Cryo damage.
    • Primal Surge (Rank 5): Restores bullets and shields when inflicting status effects on an enemy. Blackout (Rank 1): Ordinance now deals Shock damage on critical hits (currently only applies 1 point due to a bug).

    Specializations

    • Survival (20 Points): The Best Defense
    • Brute (32 Points): Riddle You This
    • Gadgeteer (20 Points): Full Spectrum and Fragmentation Payload

    Battle Style

    Mobbing

First, activate Berserk, then use Onslaught and Pyroclast to increase fire damage and movement speed. Unleash your firepower on minions. Atling Gun bullets will automatically track them, while Primal Surge provides nearly unlimited ammunition and shields. Tail of the Comet applies various status effects to mobs, and its DoT effect continues to deal damage even after you stop firing.

    Bossing

Amon’s boss-fight abilities aren’t as powerful as other characters, so you’ll need to replace Kill Spring with a Repkit to gain Enrage and Amp. Replace Atling Gun with Honey Bunches for increased burst damage.

Activate Fulminating Fist at the start of a boss fight to increase the chance of status effects. Prioritize Tail of the Comet’s DoT when targeting the boss. Finally, use the shield’s Watch for Dinner to increase shock damage. Be mindful of skill cooldowns when firing continuously.

Turret Amon build doesn’t offer the highest burst damage, but it’s incredibly survivable and incredibly funny (with unlimited ammo, after all). It can let you take a shower with enemies bullets rain comfortably in Ultimate Vault Hunter 5. If you’re not looking for extreme damage, this build is plenty satisfying.

While the core of this build lies in its skills, if you want a smooth gameplay experience, you’ll need to at least stockpile Legendary weapons, such as Atling Gun. However, Borderlands 4 bosses don’t drop weapons very often, and Amon will struggle to defeat them without them. If you want to skip this step and get straight to the fun, you can buy cheap and safe Borderlands 4 items on IGGM.

  • Borderlands 4 All Upcoming Content: Horrors Of Kairos, Christmas DLC, And Bloomreaper The Invincible

    Posted: Oct 14, 2025

Borderlands 4 officials announced their upcoming updates at PAX Australia, including new activities, new weapons, and an invincible boss. Compared to other games, Borderlands 4 team's release schedule is quite rapid.

They also announced the release of their first paid DLC on November 20th. While it won't be large, it's just an appetizer before the real big DLC! Let's take a look at what's coming.

Borderlands 4 All Upcoming Content: Horrors Of Kairos, Christmas DLC, And Bloomreaper The Invincible

    Event: Horrors Of Kairos

Horrors of Kairos is a free, seasonal Halloween-themed event that runs from October 23rd to November 6th.

World bosses will introduce dynamic weather effects, such as bloody rain. This event includes the following rewards, primarily dropped by World Bosses:

    • "Gourd Your Loins" Jack-o-Lantern head for 4 Vault Hunters
    • "Hex Appeal" Weapon Skin
    • "Murmur" Legendary Tediore Assault Rifle
    • "Skully" Legendary Order Grenade

"Murmur" Legendary Tediore Assault Rifle can execute weakened enemies and critically hit enemies below 35% health, while "Skully" Legendary Order Grenade is an "Order" grenade that homes in on its target while firing pellets. While both new Legendary weapons are useful, they aren't particularly powerful. Only need you cost a smalll amount of Borderlands 4 money for sale to get both!

Bounty Pack: How Rush Saved Mercenary Day

How Rush Saved Mercenary Day is Borderlands 4's first paid DLC (it's automatically unlocked with Deluxe or Super Deluxe Edition). While it's not particularly extensive, it's themed around Christmas. It will be released on November 20th.

The main plot of this DLC involves teaming up with the NPC Rush, who wants to create a holiday for Outbounders on the planet Kairos. However, the villain Minister Screw (similar to Scrooge from A Christmas Carol) hates holidays and merriment and tries to stop you.

You'll see various Christmas elements throughout this DLC's scenes, such as gifts, stocking murals, Christmas lights, a Santa Claus workshop-style area, and Claptrap, who wears a Santa hat and beard.

In addition to loot and additional collectibles earned from completing missions, players will also receive a secret card containing unlockable rewards. The game includes over 20 cosmetic items and 4 reforgeable pieces of gear, giving players the opportunity to customize the attributes of each weapon.

    Included Rewards:

    • 4 rerollable weapons
    • 4 Vault Hunter Heads usable by 4 Vault Hunters
    • 4 Vault Hunter Skins usable by 4 Vault Hunters
    • 5 Weapon Skins
    • 5 Vehicle Skins
    • 4 ECHO-4 Drone Skins
    • 2 ECHO-4 Attachments

This DLC also grants you access to a new Legendary weapon, Missile Laser, which has two fire modes. Its primary fire mode is a volley of sticky, homing missiles. Its secondary fire mode is a laser. Shining the laser on an enemy with attached missiles detonates all of them, dealing significant additional damage.

Bounty Pack 1 is just an appetizer, clearly not enough to truly satisfy players. The developers have stated that they plan to add a grenade launcher, a pearlescent weapon, and a Crazy Earl voice-activated weapon in Bounty Pack 2.

They're also not satisfied with the performance of Tiny Tina's Wonderland and have stated that they're preparing a DLC even larger than Wonderland, which is truly exciting.

    New Boss: Bloomreaper The Invincible

Bloomreaper is the game's first Invincible boss and will be released for free in December 2025. It will be incredibly difficult, with incredible health and damage, and may also have several kill mechanics that Vault Hunters will need to dodge using abilities like the grappling hook, dash, and glide. Players will need to prepare their best Borderlands 4 and hone their agility.

Bloomreaper, a boss of Vile Enemy group, is located in a new area on the planet Kairos called Terminus Range, a cliff-lined mountainous region never before visited by players. This suggests that the new boss will usher in a new area of expansion. Developers have hinted that Terminus Range holds many undiscovered secrets, and future content may revolve around this area.

Bloomreaper the Invincible's drop pool includes five exclusive pieces of equipment, though their specifics have yet to be revealed. One piece is based on Amara's equipment. The community speculates that it could be the new Face Puncher (a classic weapon that fires bullets but deals melee damage), potentially launching a giant fist.

In addition to the above, there is some scattered information about future updates:

    • Cross-platform saves: Cross-platform save functionality is officially confirmed to be in development.
    • Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode: The Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode will be added, a traditional multi-play mode for the series' core players.
    • Recent game balance adjustments are all in preparation for endgame content like the Invincible Boss.

This is the official update plan for Borderlands 4. From October to December, Vault Hunters will have something new to play. Smaller Bounty Packs and Invincible Bosses will continue to expand the game's content, but major DLC may still be a long way off.

Whether it's Horrors of Kairos, Bounty Packs, or Invincible, Borderlands 4's end-game challenges are becoming increasingly difficult. Your legendary weapons from leveling up won't be enough to power through the endgame. A Tier S legendary weapon and its corresponding accessories are essential for reaching the endgame. IGGM has a wealth of cheap and powerful Borderlands 4 items available for trade. If you're struggling with the endgame, you can find some gear here to improve your build.

  • Borderlands 4 Legendary Weapons Tier List | Best Guns Ranked (S To D Tier)

    Posted: Oct 13, 2025

The fun of Borderlands 4 is blasting away with your guns and skills, and the core of nearly every build is a Legendary weapon. However, there are countless Legendary weapons in the game, and their power levels vary. Some can instantly slay bosses, while others are mere toys, perhaps even inferior to your purple-quality weapon.

You certainly don't want to be fooled by the flashy colors of Legendary weapons. Your ultimate choice should be a Tier S weapon that can be the best choice in multiple builds and excels at clearing monsters or taking down bosses, so here's a look at the ranking of Borderlands 4 Legendary weapons.

Borderlands 4 Legendary Weapons Tier List | Best Guns Ranked (S To D Tier)

    Rating Criteria

Note that these ratings are not based on a weapon's default state, but rather on the potential of its strongest variant (with specific attachments and stats):

    • S Tier: The best choice in multiple builds. Excellent at clearing monsters or taking down bosses, and widely used by multiple characters.
    • A Tier: The best choice in a specific build, or excels at one or the other, but not both.
    • B Tier: Good weapons, but generally less popular/specific.
    • C Tier: Serves a specific purpose, but has better alternatives. Average performance unless built around this weapon.
    • D Tier: Underperforming weapons that aren't actively used or built around.

    S Tier

    • Bod: Compatible with five component types, it stacks 5x damage and benefits from multiple buffs, making it easy to reach maximum damage.
    • Complex Root: It generates additional scattered projectiles along its path. With Atlas tracker, it can focus scattered projectiles on the same target, resulting in high instantaneous damage and making it suitable for boss fights.
    • Katagawa's Revenge: With Jakobs' high-explosive attachment, it generates a large amount of projectiles with wide coverage, making it useful for both boss fights and mob clearing.
    • Midnight Defiance: Probably one of the best mobbing weapons, capable of clearing the screen and dealing massive AOE damage with the right build.
    • Convergence: A versatile weapon, strong in both mobbing and bossing, perfect for pairing with Jakobs' attachments.
    • Hot Slugger: Hot Slugger Shotgun is an excellent shotgun in Jakobs series. It offers excellent handling, adaptability to multiple builds, and is great for single-target damage.
    • T.K's Wave: If paired with Atlas tracker, its barrage mode can easily decimate bosses and mobbing enemies.
    • Kaoson: Fires sticky pellets that explode when reloading or switching fire modes, making it a fast choice for boss-killing.
    • Stray: Provides multi-element and multi-projectile coverage, delivering exceptional AoE damage.
    • Wombo Combo: This high-damage assault rifle is highly effective at clearing monsters, placing it near the bottom of the S-tier.

Buy Borderlands 4 Money, Items And Boosting Services At IGGM.com

    A Tier

    • Oscar Mike: Its strength comes primarily from its Space Laser, which allows you to instantly take down single-target bosses.
    • G.M.R.: While it has high damage and is strong against groups of monsters, its feel and firepower rhythm need to be improved with gear.
    • Rainbow Vomit: It can trigger a large number of status effects by switching elements, but its slow projectile speed and small magazine size make it less than ideal in actual use.
    • Borstel Ballista: An excellent Jacobs sniper rifle with high critical damage and decent shooting feel.
    • Disc Jockey: It fires disc projectiles that ricochet through crowds, dealing elemental damage, making it a good choice for Infinite Ordnance Amon.
    • Linebacker: One of the best splash shotguns, good for both monster clearing and boss fighting.
    • Bottled Lightning: Excellent for area clearing and boss fighting, but its boss fighting performance is surpassed by some purple-quality weapons.
    • Whiskey Foxtrot: This assault rifle can deal high damage if you can equip it with the right attributes.
    • Anarachy: A powerful single-target clearing weapon that requires constant stacking, but its sticky variant can also be used against bosses.
    • Goalkeeper: A high-DPS assault rifle, but the feel is average.
    • Finnityy XXX-L: Fast fire rate, strong stacking ammo mechanic, and extremely high DPS when paired with items like COV or Bloodshot Vex.
    • Kickballer: This weapon can instantly kill bosses, but it can also easily kill itself, so it's not recommended for clearing.
    • Golden God: A powerful boss killer with infinite ammo, but it consumes a lot of ammo.
    • Birt's Bees: Requires stickiness to be effective, and is very effective against large bosses.
    • Seventh Sense: A decent pistol across the board, but the pistol category as a whole needs a buff.
    • Sweet Embrace: Has excellent damage on impact, making it suitable for a DOT build.

    B Tier

    • Chuck: An excellent Tediore weapon with a fast throw rate, but not the highest damage in its category.
    • Luty Madlad: While some players have praised it highly, its fire rate is a bit slow, and there are many better options.
    • Queen's Rest: Fires high-velocity bullets with a 30% chance to spawn homing sticky projectiles upon damaging an enemy. Reload and throw times are a bit long.
    • Plasma Coil: Offers high DPS builds, but has limited attachment options and slow projectile velocity.
    • Boomslang: Combined with Datali Shotgun mod, it's an excellent sticky shotgun.
    • Aegon's Dream: A solid assault rifle with multi-elemental damage, suitable for clearing monsters but average against bosses.
    • Streamer: Useful against large targets, but generally inferior to some excellent purple weapons.
    • Phantom Flame: Its homing projectiles can only target the torso, and its base damage is low.
    • Ruby's Grasp: A good Tediore weapon, making it a good down-and-out weapon.
    • Stop-gap: Reduces its rate of fire to gain a significant damage boost, making it effective against large bosses.
    • Truck: A powerful, high-damage Legendary sniper rifle, generally only useful at lower levels.
    • Forsaken Chaos: a powerful weapon, especially at close range, despite its low accuracy and small magazine.
    • Bonnie & Clyde: This weapon uses two different ammo types, which is an interesting mechanic, but lacks in damage.
    • Ravenfire: A solid Ordinance weapon that's effective against large targets, but is outclassed by purple-quality weapons.
    • Ohm I Got: Requires armor shield, otherwise the user can easily die.
    • Lucian's Flank: A solid monster-clearing weapon with built-in Jakobs projectiles, but lacks in damage.
    • Rowan's Charge: Each critical hit returns two rounds of ammunition, which, if built correctly, can make the magazine nearly infinite.

    C Tier

    • King's Gambit: A very unpopular weapon, but useful in certain Ranger Rafa builds.
    • Bully: A pistol that requires a charge and lacks in damage.
    • Goremaster: Deals increased damage to enemies below 30% health, but is a disappointing shotgun overall.
    • Hellfire: Lacks a clear purpose, and isn't even the best elemental weapon.
    • Hellwalker: Overall a nerf, given the current metagame's focus on armored enemies.
    • Acey May: A mediocre gun even with Jakobs mod.
    • Symmetry: A cool mechanic, but a bit awkward to use.
    • Atling Gun: A solid Gatling prototype weapon, but its DPS is surpassed by purple-quality weapons.
    • Rangefinder: Good for leveling, but not for end-game.
    • Divided Focus: A weapon with potential, but there are higher-damaging alternatives.
    • Fisheye: A charged sniper rifle with decent damage but a clunky feel.
    • Bloody Lumberjack: As a Legendary incendiary rifle, its stats indicate significantly lower DPS than it actually delivers.
    • Husky Friend: A Tediore weapon with a turret, but not the best choice.
    • Potato Thrower IV: Shoots small explosive projectiles with minimal splash damage. Extremely low damage, making it practically useless. Use the mashing button to create a bomb with a wider explosion radius.
    • Lucky Clover: Has two firing modes and decent damage, but there are better alternatives.
    • Noisy Cricket: Primarily used for destroying Vile crystals, it performs adequately for its specific purpose.

    D Tier

D Tier weapons generally have numerous design flaws and are not recommended.

    • Star Helix
    • Darkbeast
    • Onslaught
    • Lead Balloon
    • Budget Diety
    • Roach
    • Cold Shoulder
    • Gamma Void
    • Asher's Rise
    • Prince Harming
    • Spezzatura
    • Vamoose
    • Zipper
    • Sideshow
    • Kaleidosplode
    • Frangible

If you're searching solely for weapons, I recommend prioritizing Tier S and A weapons. Tier B weapons are also useful, as the rest are simply garbage that takes up inventory space. Additionally, be wary of weapons that appear powerful but have high consumption or can cause damage to yourself. Without unlimited ammo or proper support, they can easily become useless.

Tier S weapons are excellent, but their worldwide drop rate is inconsistent and low. If you want to complete your build faster, you can buy powerful and reliable Tier S Borderlands 4 weapons directly from IGGM.

  • Borderlands 4 Defeat Callis The Ripper Queen To Complete Her Flaming Vision Quest

    Posted: Sep 28, 2025

While Borderlands 4 offers a generous degree of exploration, it's recommended that you prioritize completing the main quests within your capabilities to earn XP and gain a deeper understanding of the game's story and major bosses.

The main quest system consists of multiple quest lines, one of which is Ripper Queen storyline. This time, we'll introduce the final quest in that line, Her Flaming Vision.

We'll explain the prerequisites for accessing this quest and how to defeat the final boss, Callis.

Borderlands 4 Defeat Callis The Ripper Queen To Complete Her Flaming Vision Quest

Step 1: Skip The Ramp Test

After completing the previous main quest, you'll be transported back to Carcadia City. Next, you'll need to find and speak with NPC Levaine on the west side of the plateau to trigger the next quest.

Although Levaine was previously located in Leaders' Chamber, you won't be able to interact with her in this section, even though you can see her there.

During the conversation, you'll see rockets launching from the northwest edge of Carcadia Burn, located in Fallen Crown Crater, the lair of boss Callis. To reach it, you'll need to cross a rift.

To do this, you'll need to find another NPC, Zane, to trigger a ramp test to see if you can currently cross the rift - which is obviously impossible.

We recommend speaking with Zane directly to skip the test. If you choose to complete the test on your own and accidentally fall into the abyss, you'll end up spending extra BL4 cash to respawn, which is not worth it.

Step 2: Find The Spatial Accelerator

After skipping the test, the quest guide will instruct you to head to Gunkwork on the northern edge of Carcadia Burn to find a usable spatial accelerator.

Gunkwork is one of the most dangerous Ripper facilities in the game. You could encounter any imaginable enemy within, so be sure to bring your best gear and plenty of combat supplies.

After clearing all enemies, investigate the giant crawler to the northeast of the facility. Once you're close enough, Zane will instruct you to continue your search by heading toward the massive gate on the northwest side of the factory, then Drilldozer Deluxe will appear.

To avoid being run over by the drill, you'll need to immediately avoid its path. Then, climb to the top of the factory wall, glide onto the drill's platform, and interact with the panel at the front. This will prompt you to obtain a keycard that allows you to override the drill.

    How To Obtain The Keycard?

Once prompted, backtrack and time your jump onto the drill. Ride it to reach the crawler, where you'll encounter a group of enemies on top of the crawler. Defeat them, and Holey Moley, the site foreman holding the keycard, will appear.

Defeat this mini-boss to obtain the keycard, which you can then insert into the drill's override panel to open a door on the platform below.

After jumping down, turn all the valves in the room to overheat the drill's engine. This will allow you to retrieve the space accelerator from the center of the room. Return to Zane with the item.

Step 3: Reach Boss Callis' Lair

Place the space accelerator on the machine next to Zane to activate the generators on both sides. Now, mount your digi-runner and use the machine's power to catapult you to the other side of the rift, on the path to the boss's location.

Remember to always aim straight ahead during the catapult. Don't try to jump or glide just because you might fall. This will ensure you land safely in a cave below the rim of the crater.

Continue forward, killing all enemies along the way until you reach Moon-Called Throne. You'll need to repeatedly enter several rooms here, defeating the rippers within, and then use ECHO-4 to crack the final door in the final room.

Several waves of enemies will appear during the cracking process, disrupting ECHO-4's work; you'll need to eliminate them promptly. Once you've completed the cracking, you can jump into the pit containing the grinding wheel with your gear to begin the final boss battle.

Step 4: Defeat Callis, The Ripper Queen

This boss is characterized by its thick health bar and powerful attacks. Her weak spot is its head, but she moves around and changes positions frequently during the fight, making it difficult to consistently aim for it.

For this reason, it's recommended to aim for her center of mass most of the time, then seize the opportunity when she lands and stands to fire to land as many headshots as possible.

In addition, this boss's armor is very strong, so you must bring at least one weapon with good corrosive damage to destroy her initial health, as well as Callis's helpers and minions.

After her armor wears off, Callis becomes briefly invincible and creates shadow clones. These clones slow you down, so you'll need to avoid them while continuously attacking with your highest-damage weapon until the boss is defeated.

It's important to note that the minions summoned by the boss will often charge directly at you and damage you by exploding at close range. You'll need to eliminate them with grenades or other AoE attacks before they reach you.

Another key helper for Callis is Tabnak, The Ripper Prince. Most of the time, you don't need to defeat him; just dodge Ripper Orbs he throws mid-air.

After the battle, you'll claim your loot and the quest item, Command Bolt. Return to Carcadia City, speak to Levaine, and give her the item. This completes Her Flaming Vision quest and allows you to move on to the next step.

If the later quests seem too challenging, you can start by farming XP and gear in small increments to improve your character's abilities before continuing with the remaining quest lines. Good luck!

If you're short on essential gear for defeating the boss Callis, visit IGGM Borderlands 4 items for sale page and search for the gear name to find and buy it. This will save your time farming gear to help you complete the quest faster!

  • Borderlands 4 Top 5 Legendary Weapons Guide | Drop Locations, Stats & How To Get Them Fast

    Posted: Sep 27, 2025

Legendary weapons are the most powerful gear in Borderlands 4, with extremely low drop rates throughout the game. However, their near-game-changing power is what makes them so sought after by countless players.

There are many Legendary weapons in Borderlands 4, but which one is best suited to your playstyle? Here, we’ll share several of the most popular Legendary weapons and how to obtain them. Let’s take a look!

Borderlands 4 Top 5 Legendary Weapons Guide | Drop Locations, Stats & How To Get Them Fast

    1. T.K’s Wave Shotgun

First, let’s take a look at T.K’s Wave Shotgun. Its damage per second is astonishing, dealing a minimum of 7,600 damage per second with a 96% critical damage bonus. Simply put, each shot deals nearly 19,000 damage, and with the massive critical damage bonus, this means we can actually deal a staggering 37,000 damage per shot. That’s insane.

So why is this weapon so rarely mentioned? The biggest factor holding it back from being the best weapon in Borderlands 4 is its waving pellets.

Yes, they’re cool because they ricochet, but that’s not enough to offset the potential loss of accuracy. If you truly understand the distance needed to accurately hit your enemies, even landing multiple headshots, it could be the best weapon in Borderlands 4 for you.

Using T.K’s Wave in close combat, it deals insane damage because it’s almost impossible to miss. Staying up close makes it difficult to make a mistake. However, this strategy is difficult against large, slow-moving bosses, as you can easily be killed by a single shot before you even reach them.

All in all, T.K’s Wave Shotgun is a love-hate Legendary weapon. Its accuracy is insane, but once you master it, you can become a relentless marksman!

    How To Obtain It?

To obtain T.K’s Wave, head to the north end of Carcadia Burn Vault, where you’ll find Trinket Crevass Abandoned Augur Mine.

Note: If this area is red and locked, you can’t enter. You’ll need to progress through the story and complete Shadow of the Mountain quest.

You can then return to Trinket Crevass Abandoned Augur Mine, where you’ll encounter a boss named Rocken Roller. Defeating him has a chance of dropping T.K’s Wave Shotgun, a legendary weapon.

    2. Rainbow Vomit Shotgun

Rainbow Vomit Shotgun is one of the most damaging and highest DPS weapons in Borderlands 4, and another Jakobs weapon.

Unlike most Jakobs weapons, Rainbow Vomit Shotgun deals damage from nearly all elements and fires three different elemental Rainbow Vomit projectiles. The element you gain depends on the element it drops, and it also has Jakobs Ricochet effect.

In addition, just like the regular Jakobs weapon, which is flexible against any enemy type, Rainbow Vomit is even more so. If you want to truly maximize your damage, you can choose different variants tailored to different elements and carry element-specific health bars.

For example, we could equip a weapon that deals Cryo, Shock, and Corrosive. Corrosive and Cryo both affect armor, so it will melt yellow health bars. Shock is excellent at eliminating blue health bars. This weapon is great against Synth Adds, as they have blue shields and armor.

    How To Obtain It?

You can obtain this weapon by defeating World Bosses, but the most reliable way to obtain it is through Leader Willem boss fight in Carcadia Burn.

To unlock this boss fight, you first need to complete a series of five different side quests. It begins with a side quest called Enter the Electi Part 1. This side quest is unlocked during Unpaid Tab main quest.

Here, you’ll find Leader Kassandra waiting to give you a quest and spouting off an hour-long, unskippable dialogue. Luckily, all subsequent side quests are handed off at the same location on the map.

Next, you’ll need to complete Enter the Electi Pt. 2, The Council Divided, Traitor Within, and The Mole’s Gambit, in that order. Completing these will unlock Leader Willem, allowing you to farm during boss fights and obtain Rainbow Vomit Shotgun.

Buy Borderlands 4 Money, Items And Boosting Services At IGGM.com

    3. Kickballer

Kickballer is a powerful Legendary weapon because its bullets fly wherever they go. This isn’t a big deal in dense packs or boss fights, as you don’t even need to aim; your bullets will ricochet and explode whenever they land. If you can angle it slightly to land underneath a large enemy, the blast radius will melt them.

It’s probably the most powerful weapon in Borderlands 4 yet, and no matter your specific build, Kickballer will easily melt everyone.

    How To Obtain It?

You can find the boss named Sludgemaw in The Fadefields Vault, who randomly drops Kickballer. It’s important to note that this boss isn’t unlocked until you complete All Charged Up side quest, which in turn requires you to complete Null and Void. You can start this side quest by speaking with Rhodes near the Launchpad.

After completing Null and Void, All Charged Up quest will pick up where Null and Void left off and lead you to Sludgemaw. Defeat him and you’ll receive Kickballer!

    4. Torgue Linebacker Shotgun

Another Legendary weapon is Torgue Linebacker Shotgun, which excels at crowd control and effectively kills any target. More importantly, this Legendary weapon comes in a variety of elemental variants, including Kinetic, which generally deals increased damage.

Similar to Kickballer, the more times the projectile bounces, the greater the damage and damage radius of each bounce. The splash radius of each drop varies, so be sure to check your weapon to see how large yours is.

But no matter what, keep firing. With just one shotgun, you’ll feel like you have unlimited ammo. Just keep blasting away, and enemies will disappear, and tons of Borderlands 4 money will be piling into your pocket!

    How To Obtain It?

To get this Torgue gun, you need to farm Skyspanner Kratch in Lambent Mines in the eastern part of Cuspid Climb. It’s a slightly annoying boss fight, but not too frustrating. Repeat the battle a few times and you’ll get Torgue Shotgun.

    5. Stop Gap Vladof Sniper

Finally, we’ll mention Stop Gap Vladof Sniper. Compared to Sniper Rifle weapon, this is more of an automatic weapon. The longer you fire, the more powerful it becomes, but the slower the fire rate, but it still easily rips through everything in its path.

Of course, this weapon has a significant drawback: to gain the increased power the longer you fire, you must hold down the trigger. It resets when you stop firing. Therefore, it’s best used against larger bosses or when facing large groups of enemies.

It’s also worth noting that if you’re facing a large group of enemies, you should first kill smaller enemies while the magazine reloads, then use the last bullet in the magazine to attack larger enemies. This last bullet deals 750% more damage! These last few bullets are potentially more powerful than anything else in the game.

    How To Obtain It?

To obtain Stop Gap, you can use Moxxi’s Big Encore stations to farm Backhive boss fight. Moxxi’s station is located in Claim Auger Mines, east of Fadefields. You can’t access it until a certain point in the story, when the red wall blocking your entrance disappears or turns blue. However, this is the best way to obtain Stop Gap Vladof Sniper.

These are some of the most powerful Legendary weapons in Borderlands 4. Possessing these weapons not only increases your leveling speed and boss-killing efficiency, but more importantly, they serve as a symbol of achievement and prowess!

If you’re looking to acquire them faster but lack the time to complete lengthy questlines, you can buy Borderlands 4 Legendary weapons on IGGM. Whether you’re focused on leveling or farming, a suitable weapon is the starting point for success!

  • Borderlands 4 Best Vault Hunter Skill Trees Ranked - Most Powerful Builds

    Posted: Sep 26, 2025

In Borderlands 4, you can choose to play as one of four Vault Hunters. Regardless of your choice, you're a mercenary with wild guns, hunting down alien vaults and a devastating array of abilities.

Each Vault Hunter class offers a unique playstyle, granting you one of three signature abilities, called Action Skills. Using your Action Skills and three skill trees (each containing slotted abilities and powerful passives), you can create a wide variety of incredibly powerful character builds. Obviously, each of these skill trees has strengths and weaknesses, so which ones are stronger?

Borderlands 4 Best Vault Hunter Skill Trees Ranked - Most Powerful Builds

    Rafa: The Exo-Soldier

Blue Skill Tree: Apotheus Lance (B Tier)

This is a solid, but somewhat limited, skill tree. It lets Rafa wield an arm cannon that fires penetrating shock shells, a cool concept. However, it has some shortcomings: First, its key damage-boosting skill isn't as powerful as Penetrator Knife's. Second, the build lacks survivability, making it prone to collapse when using high-damage modules that require close-range damage. It requires specialized gear to excel in the late game.

    Borderlands 4 Rafa: The Exo-Soldier

Green Skill Tree: Arc Knives (C Tier)

This is Rafa's weakest skill tree. While Arc Knives are incredibly satisfying and deal significant damage when clearing minions, their single-target damage against bosses is severely lacking in the endgame. Furthermore, the game's inherent melee-friendly nature, with many bosses capable of flying, also results in poor survivability, making this build vulnerable to core challenges.

Red Skill Tree: Peacebreaker Cannons (S Tier)

Peacebreaker Cannons is undoubtedly one of the top skill trees in the game, even somewhat unbalanced. Its core skill tree is the summoning of auto-attack shoulder turrets that deal massive damage and last almost forever.

Not only are they incredibly efficient at clearing maps, they can quickly vaporize bosses, while also providing Rafa with exceptional survivability through their lifesteal. In the endgame, you can easily handle any challenge with just turret damage, even with low-level weapons.

    Amon: The Forgeknight

    Borderlands 4 Amon: The Forgeknight

Green Skill Tree: Crucible (A Tier)

Crucible is Amon's most stable and powerful skill tree. While it allows you to summon Forgedrone minions, this playstyle is somewhat lackluster in the late game. If you want reliable damage, it's recommended to focus on the gun builds.

Crucible's core strength lies in its powerful elemental synergy. His Frost Axe can instantly freeze powerful enemies (including bosses), while his key skill, Lightning Rod, triggers high lightning damage on critical hits. Combined with the reload bonus and other damage-boosting effects, it creates a terrifying elemental burst, making it excellent for both clearing maps and single-target attacks.

The following are recommended skill points:

    • Lightning Rod: Critical hits have a chance to trigger elemental lightning, dealing massive damage.
    • Searing Cold: Frost Axe instantly freezes powerful enemies, including bosses.
    • Bolt Action: Reloading grants bonus shock damage, synergizing well with the low-capacity Jakobs shotgun.

Red Skill Tree: Onslaught (C Tier)

This is a punch-focused melee build that's exhilarating to play and boasts exceptional survivability, making you practically indestructible. However, its biggest drawback is its incredibly slow boss-killing speed. Even with legendary weapon mod, which enhances his Forgefist, the damage performance remains disappointing, requiring further enhancements for end-game play.

Buy Borderlands 4 Money, Items And Boosting Services At IGGM.com

Blue Skill Tree: Scourge (B Tier)

This skill tree grants a forged shield that blocks damage and allows for powerful counterattacks using accumulated Vengeance. However, its abilities have a long cooldown (70 seconds) and lack significant damage. Its effectiveness is highly dependent on specific Borderlands 4 items, particularly high-base-damage Ice-type Ordinance weapons to trigger its powerful ice and lightning damage-over-time effects.

Without core equipment, this class's damage is very weak, so it's not recommended for leveling. It's a specialized class with potential in the later stages.

    Vex: The Siren

    Borderlands 4 Vex: The Siren

Green Skill Tree: Incarnate (S Tier)

Incarnate Vex possesses the strongest single-target damage in the game. While Incarnate skill itself offers average damage, the benefits it provides when activated (such as status effect damage and increased gun damage) are incredibly powerful.

In particular, Bloodletter skill can inflict bleed damage through critical hits. At full stacks, the bleed damage becomes absurd, capable of instantly melting bosses. Furthermore, this class provides a significant amount of life steal, allowing Vex to deal devastating damage while also offering extremely high survivability, with virtually no downsides.

Blue Skill Tree: Dead Ringer (A Tier)

This is a powerful summoner class that primarily attacks through summoned Specters or Reapers. These summons deliver exceptionally high damage from the early to endgame, making them reliable for clearing levels and defeating bosses, easily carrying players through the game.

Its only major drawback is the fragility of its summons. You need to choose a safe location for them, otherwise frenzied mobs can easily crush them.

Red Skill Tree: Phase Familiar (C Tier)

This is the weakest Vex skill tree. Its core is the summoning of a resident pet named Trouble. The concept is cool, and when it works well, it performs well. However, the main problem with this build is the pet's AI intelligence and survivability.

It often gets stuck due to pathing issues, and the familiar itself is fragile and easily dies, which can cause Vex's combat effectiveness to drop by almost half. This makes the build very unstable and not a good experience.

    Harlowe: The Gravitar

    Borderlands 4 Harlowe: The Gravitar

Green Skill Tree: Flux Generato (A Tier)

Flux Generato provides top-tier crowd control and damage boost. It generates an energy field that all enemies caught within it share damage, allowing for rapid clearing.

Its most powerful use is in using Group Study module, transforming the generator into a drone. Stacking it up grants massive gun damage and fire rate bonuses, giving it burst power comparable to Tier S. It can even instantly kill bosses, but this requires the support of Borderlands 4 items that provide cooldown reduction to maintain the infinite duration of the skill.

Blue Skill Tree: Zero Point (B Tier)

Zero Point focuses on control, encasing enemies in a stasis field and then hurling them at other targets. It's a fun and efficient way to clear the map. However, it's quite limited, as it doesn't work against bosses, and many elite enemies in the endgame can't be affected, making it less useful in crucial encounters.

Red Skill Tree: Chroma Accelerator (S Tier)

Chroma Accelerator is another top-tier skill tree that can disrupt the balance. Its core is launching a remote-detonated nuclear bomb. Using a specific module, the massive damage dealt by a nuclear bomb can be stored and applied to every subsequent gunshot. Combined with a high-rate weapon, this can deal nearly infinite, devastating damage, offering top-tier clearing and boss-killing abilities. However, you'll need to stack cooldown reduction to use your skills frequently.

All Borderlands 4 characters are well-designed, allowing you to choose your preferred character. The game allows you to start your new character at level 30 after completing the game with your first character, or you can use Borderlands 4 cash to switch to a more powerful skill tree.

The strength of a Borderlands 4 build is directly tied to its skill tree and, of course, its gear. Some builds even rely heavily on gear with specific affixes. However, choosing the right one from among the billions of guns available does require a fair bit of luck.

You can enter IGGM.com, which has a wide selection of Borderlands 4 guns for sale, and you can even buy a complete set of gear directly there.

Borderlands 4 Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode And More Endgame Contents

Borderlands is all about the pursuit of loot. Endgame gameplay is a cycle of challenging tough enemies, collecting loot, improving your character, and then challenging higher difficulties to obtain even rarer items. Borderlands 4's Ultimate Vault Hunter mode is like a mountain you'll enjoy climbing.

Players enter this mode after completing the campaign with their first character. Enemies become more aggressive and deadly in this mode, but the loot they drop is also more powerful, rewarding players for their efforts.

However, victory will yield rich rewards, including top-tier loot that significantly enhances your build, increased experience points, and increased Borderlands 4 money.

    Farming Loot

To increase the incentive for players to farm loot, the game's loot mechanics have been improved, with more varied and predictable targets and exclusive drops.

Fighting the same boss repeatedly in the same location on the map doesn't have to be such a tedious task anymore. Across Kairos, players can challenge a diverse array of enemies in pursuit of specific Borderlands 4 items.

In addition to monster drops, Hunter Bosses across Kairos offer generous rewards through contracts. Completing contracts earns you valuable Eridium, which you can spend on end-game activities like resetting your mastery tree.

Moxxi's Big Encore Machine, featured in the gameplay demonstration, allows players to challenge defeated bosses repeatedly without having to exit and re-enter the game, saving significant time.

Activating the machine consumes some Eridium, allowing you to challenge the target boss directly from the same location. This is a significant improvement in the endgame loot farming experience.

    Weekly Challenges

Between major content updates, the game offers weekly rewards to encourage players to return to Kairos to challenge new content and win rich rewards.

The same quests appear on all player maps, allowing everyone to face the same additional enemy traits and explore the best challenges together. Completing a quest guarantees a Legendary piece of equipment, which you can continue to farm until you get the one you're looking for.

Maurice has opened a shop in Kairos, Borderlands 4. Each week, Maurice's Black Market Machine appears in a new Kairos location. Use in-game cash to exchange the machine for valuable Legendary loot. While the machine's location is the same for all players, the inventory is unique to each player. So, talk to your friends and join their games, and they might have the legendary equipment you're looking for. Help each other to improve your game experience.

  • Borderlands 4 Has Evolved Across The All Aspects | Skills, Weapons, Maps And Endgame

    Posted: Sep 19, 2025

As the official sequel to Borderlands series, Borderlands 4 has finally arrived after years of polish. The series is known for its absurd humor, frantic shooting gameplay, and generous loot system, and Borderlands 4 is undoubtedly the culmination of all of this.

This game still revolves around shoot-and-loot, but its ambitions have been upgraded across all dimensions, including open-world exploration, build system, and more endgame content. This raises the question: Is this still Borderlands we're familiar with?

Borderlands 4 Has Evolved Across The All Aspects | Skills, Weapons, Maps And Endgame

    Class Skills

Borderlands 4 launches with four classes, or rather, four main characters:

    • Vex, The Dark Siren
    • Rafa, The Exo-Soldier
    • Harlowe, The Gravitar
    • Amon, The Forgeknight

After leveling up and gaining skill points, players will choose between three main skill trees, determining their primary development path and expanding a vast skill tree of over twenty items. Players can use Borderlands 4 cash to re-set their skills at their base.

In addition to equipping a primary skill, each class can also activate additional Vault Hunter traits, which provide additional effects or buffs to that primary skill.

Alongside these primary skills and traits, each class also possesses a series of passive attribute enhancements and five primary skill enhancements, which modify the primary skill's damage type, range, and stats. After reaching level 15, accumulating enough points activates an ultimate talent, further enhancing and modifying the primary skill.

Compared to previous games, Borderlands 4's classes exhibit two distinct characteristics:

First, Borderlands 4, for the first time in the series, emphasizes the importance of melee combat. All four classes possess primary skills that provide close-quarters effects, along with accompanying abilities like quick entry, health recovery on kills, and area-of-effect boosts. Their actual power far surpasses that of guns, not to mention classes like Forgeknight, which are clearly designed for melee combat.

Second, Borderlands 4 blends the characteristics of different classes whenever possible, blurring the lines between traditional class definitions. For example, Dark Siren is more like Beastmaster, and Gravitar is even more like Dark Siren or Witch, making the classes even more interesting.

    The Most Violence Arsenal

Number and manufacturer have always been Borderlands series' greatest strengths. If you've been playing this game since the original, you'll notice the upgrades in official marketing: from tens of thousands to tens of millions, from hundreds of millions to, in this case, billions...

Borderlands 4, while maintaining the series' classic gun manufacturers, adds new brand, Order, which can charge and fire multiple rounds at once. And Daedalus, which can be equipped with two types of ammunition; and Ripper, which requires charging to switch to full-auto fire. In terms of practicality, Daedalus is undoubtedly the most powerful. These Borderlands 4 items from different brands offer vastly different shooting feels and practical effects.

The newly added Licensed Parts System allows you to attach accessories from one brand to a gun from another. As the rarity of a weapon increases, the number of licensed parts also increases, introducing more randomness and fundamentally contributing to the significant change in the number of guns in this game.

    Darkest Story

Although Borderlands series has always been relatively light on story, this game's plot ranks above average for the series, featuring numerous scenes of death, revenge, resurrection, and betrayal. The final boss's identity and charm permeate the entire storyline.

While the writing and character design still favor a chatty and madcap style, the game's humorous elements are less pronounced than in previous games, and the overall storyline leans slightly towards a darker, more mature tone, making it less entertaining overall.

Buy Borderlands 4 Money, Items And Boosting Services At IGGM.com

    The Largest World Map

Borderlands 4 features multiple seamlessly connected zones: wastelands, volcanic zones, technological urban ruins, and wild settlements. Players have far more free space to explore than ever before, creating a diverse wilderness.

However, the expansion of the map alone doesn't fully capture the vastness of Borderlands 4. It employs a multi-level platforming structure, moving beyond a single path or flat map to a three-dimensional structure. The exploration experience feels like playing a platformer. This terrain complexity directly inspired a radical overhaul of the game's mobility system.

From the beginning, players gradually unlock a comprehensive suite of highly flexible movement abilities. The addition of jetpacks and double jumps, combined with the grappling hook system, multiplies the explorable areas, creating an unprecedented sense of exploration, making it arguably the most complex in the series' history.

You'll need to climb and leap a lot, perhaps even discovering unexpected finds. The grappling hook is particularly noteworthy: it not only assists with climbing but can also be used to grab explosives from the ground, toss them elsewhere, and then fire them for significant damage.

With increased mobility, some boss battles have become more complex and multifaceted. Without overwhelming equipment and level, boss fights require frequent dodging and maneuvering to overcome enemies.

While these changes attempt to enhance immersion through world exploration, they can actually lead to redundancy and frustration for veteran players who prefer a fast-paced, straightforward experience.

    More Endgame Content

After several generations, the developers have clearly realized that the limitations of late-game content like Borderlands 3 in terms of repetition and growth feedback are no longer sufficient for modern players. Borderlands 4 attempts to build sustainable farming content through a multi-dimensional system.

Players can use a small amount of Borderlands 4 money to challenge the boss Moxxi's Big Encore repeatedly. Vault Hunter challenges, with varying difficulty levels and randomly generated, incorporate rogue-like elements, with each run creating different terrain, enemy configurations, buff/debuff conditions, and support for multiplayer. Daily and weekly quests have been added, earning special tokens for rewards.

In short, Borderlands 4 doesn't continue the frantic pace of the past by relying on plenty of guns and enemies. Instead, it evolves with more complex construction and systematic exploration. Players who enjoy open exploration, trying multiple routes, and embracing trial and error may find this a challenging innovation. However, those who prefer straightforward, clear guidance, and responsive gameplay may find it a bit weird.
