Since its initial release, World of WarCraft has celebrated its anniversary annually with a series of new rewards and returning events, and this year's 21st Anniversary Celebration kicked off on November 16th.
Date
Yes, the celebration has just begun and will continue until December 7th, 2025, meaning you have three weeks to participate in all the different activities and earn all the rewards for this year's celebration.
During the event, you can access the main celebration area located outside Caverns of Time in Tanaris. The easiest way to get to this area is through Stormwind City or via different portals.
Here, we'll show you everything that's included in World of Warcraft 21st Anniversary Celebration event, and the new rewards you can earn during this period. Let's take a look!

Celebration Rewards
The only new reward for this year's celebration is Loyal Watcher costume, which includes a Helmet, Gauntlets, Pants, Vest, Shoulderpads, Belt, and Boots.
However, it must be said that this set is rather lackluster and somewhat disappointing. You can earn Bronze Dragon Celebration Tokens by participating in various weekly tasks during the event to redeem this set, or you can obtain it from Armor Merchant Tirea, who also sells all the different remastered Tier 2 transmog sets.
If you missed the 20th Anniversary Celebration event, now is an excellent opportunity to reacquire these returning remastered Tier 2 sets, as they may not be available again until the next celebration.
Since the available tasks and activities during the event are tracked across the entire guild, any character in the guild can participate, and the tokens earned count towards the guild's weekly token acquisition, accumulating enough tokens to obtain these sets is not difficult.
Event Merchants
During the anniversary celebration, several merchants will be selling items here, including:
- Tirea: A T2 Armor Merchant where you can exchange Celebration Tokens for various Tier 2 transmog sets.
- Time-warped Tassadis Snowlight: Offers Amplified PvP-themed weapons and armor.
- Jeremy Ironface: Offers Amplified PvP-themed weapons and armor. Unfortunately, they don't have much PvP stats, but if you just want the appearance, they're a good option.
- Historian Maddie: An anniversary reward merchant who sells all the different Coldflame items. These are the various transmog items you could obtain during WoW 20th Anniversary celebration, which you can now exchange for using different tokens. Additionally, you'll get pets like Lil'Doomy's Hilt, as well as other items from previous anniversary events. So, basically nothing new, but all the rewards from previous events are here.
- Notary Public Grabrai: Offers you Bronze Dragon Festival Title.
Unfortunately, Bobadormu, the merchant who previously sold mounts, pets, toys, and other great items, is no longer available, meaning you won't be able to obtain these items for the time being.
Returning Mounts
As always, there's nothing new regarding mounts. However, you can obtain some classic mounts by defeating various world bosses in Tanaris and wild bosses scattered throughout the vanilla Warzone, such as the Illidari Doomhawk from Doomwalker. This mount has been in the game for some time.
Additionally, you can obtain mounts from other world bosses, such as Cloud Serpent Mounts, Ahriman, and various Reins of the Grand Black War Mammoth. There's nothing new here, but at least you can try to acquire these different mounts if you want.
Korrak's Revenge PVP Event
During the 21st Anniversary event, you can also participate in a special PvP event, Korrak's Revenge. This is a special version of Alterac Valley Battleground. During the event, you can complete Alterac Valley of Olde achievement and earn 200 Timewarped Badges by completing quests and participating in Alterac Valley Classic mode.
Upon completing this achievement, you will receive Stormike Battle Ram, a very cool mount. Generally, you can easily complete the various activities and objectives simply by logging into the game.
Returning Celebration Events
During this year's World of Warcraft 21st Anniversary Celebration, most of last year's events will return, such as:
Fashion Frenzy Event
Anyone can participate in Fashion Frenzy, and the event is very simple. During the event, a theme will appear on stage, and all participants will have two minutes to change their transmog to match the theme. If you don't have a transmog mount, there will be several Visiting Warpweavers on stage who can help you change your transmog gear!
After the event, the voting session will begin. For the next two minutes, players can vote for their favorite transmog, with a maximum of five votes per person!
After the voting ends, the four transmogs with the most votes will be displayed on the main stage. These transforming decorations will be on display for the next hour until the next Fashion Frenzy event!
Story Time
Story Time event is sure to be a hit with story lovers. Participation is simple: just listen to Lorewalker Cho's narration and click the interactive button when it pops up. The story will play on a stage for you and other players to watch.
There are several achievements to earn, including one for watching all the stories, so don't miss out if you're keen on collecting event achievements.
Mount Mania
If you have an impressive mount collection, the Mount Mania event will be a feast for the eyes. This is a mount collector's competition, rewarding the player with the most mounts in a fast-paced race.
To participate, head to the main celebration area and find the NPC named Abigail Cyrildotr. During the event, Abigail will summon 15 different mounts, and your goal is to summon the same mount as her to earn points.
The mounts in the event are randomized, including PvP mounts, random drops, normally crafted mounts, and paid shop mounts that require WoW gold. After summoning all 15 mounts, the winner will be announced on stage.
The Codex Of Chromie Scenario
In this scenario, players need to help Chromie fix a timeline bug that occurred when Gates of Ahn'Qiraj opened. The objective for each Codex of Chromie quest is randomly generated. Basically, you just need to complete this scenario to obtain different Timewarped Badges. In our opinion, this quest isn't particularly interesting, but it at least gives you a lot of event currency.
Updated Blackrock Depths
Then, there's the returning raid, the updated Blackrock Depths. Unfortunately, this raid seems to only be available on LFR difficulty, as we saw a queue option. This means you'll likely only be able to participate through Raid Finder, and the gear you get is entirely based on luck.
Guest Relations Event
Guest Relations quests are also returning for this year's anniversary celebration. So, if you missed them in the past, you can do them now. This quest is the primary way to obtain the Incognitro mount, one of the hidden mounts in World of Warcraft.
However, you can still complete these quests even without the 20th Anniversary celebration or the current 21st Anniversary celebration. But completing them now will unlock various achievements. So, this can also be considered an extra activity during this year's anniversary celebration.
XP And Reputation Buff
Finally, during this event, you will automatically receive a 10% XP and Reputation bonus. If you complete the repeatable quest Celebrating Good Times daily, you will receive an additional 10% bonus.
Furthermore, participating in the celebration and guest-assigned quests will grant Blessing of the Bronze Dragonflight buff, which increases all XP and Reputation gains by 10% for 12 hours.
Of course, you can also get the regular bonuses from your Warband and activate War Mode. This will give you a 10% bonus to experience and gold.
Therefore, the event is definitely the best time to level up your main character or alts.
That's all you need to know about this year's World of Warcraft 21st Anniversary Celebration. Numerous returning content and new rewards ensure players will enjoy a wealth of content throughout the celebration. Join in before the event ends!
