  • New World Season 10 Chest Runs In Nighthaven | Tips For Efficient Elite Loot Farming

    Posted: Oct 25, 2025

Generally speaking, completing specific PvE dungeons or competitive PvP modes in New World not only earns rewards, but more importantly, showcases the game's combat design.

However, there are also some gameplay methods that don't involve overly ingenious mechanical design, primarily allowing you to directly farm resources to level up your character, such as chest runs.

Also known as elite chest runs, these are large-scale endgame activities. You instantly team up with other players and follow a specific route through elite zones or strongholds to search for elite chests and loot them.

With the addition of Nighthaven, a new zone, in Season 10, your run routes and strategies may require some adjustments to better adapt to the new season and maximize your gains from a single chest run. We'll explain these tips below.

New World Season 10 Chest Runs In Nighthaven | Tips For Efficient Elite Loot Farming

    Special Tips For Chest Runs

Mechanically, the gameplay is simple: follow the route, kill enemies at each destination, and loot chests. However, knowing a few additional tips ahead of time can help you avoid unnecessary losses during chest runs.

First, while there's no character level requirement for this event, it's recommended that you reach at least level 50 before entering, as otherwise, you'll be easily killed.

Second, all elite chests can only be looted once within 24 hours, and the limit resets daily at 5:00 AM EST. This means you can participate in this resource farming activity daily if you have the time.

    How To Form A Team?

Players gather in real-time in Recruitment text chat every day to complete chest runs together. If you'd like to join someone else's team, follow the chat below and select a reliable team to join:

    • X WT
    • X ECR
    • X TRAIN
    • X and then the elite zone you're gathered at

If you want to be the team leader and recruit others, you can first plan a good run route, then post a notification in Recruitment text chat and wait for others to join.

What Preparations Should You Make Beforehand?

Compared to large-scale PvE or PvP battles, chest runs are less challenging, so your character and gear requirements aren't as demanding. However, preparation is still necessary to maximize resource farming efficiency.

Since Nighthaven is a key part of chest runs in Season 10, a must-have item in your inventory is Potion of Full Sight. It reveals invisible secrets and grants you a 30-minute buff to complete the run.

You can exchange this item directly by New World coins in the market, or you can gather enough crafting materials and craft it at Aana Station. You can craft two potions at a time. Required materials:

    • 1 gravel dirt
    • 100 water
    • 1 quartz

Note: This potion should not be confused with Potion of Fool's Sight, which reveals invisible enemies in Season 10 new raid, Isle of Night.

We also recommend carrying the following items to improve your chances of obtaining more loot during chest runs:

    • Gear with the luck stat and Monstrous Turkey Leg: Combined, these maximize your luck and increase your chances of obtaining rare loot from chests.
    • Topaz Gypsum Potions: Obtain extra gypsum from killing enemies.
    • Interactive Map: Shows you the exact locations of most available chests.

    Route In Nighthaven

This route begins in Church of Divinity area and ends at Nightbreaker Roost. Before setting off, consume any buffed potions you have; they should allow you to complete the farming round within the duration.

If you have a mount, use it for travel to increase your speed. Avoid areas of light as much as possible, as they make you more vulnerable to enemy damage. Also, equip medium gear and increase your Constitution points to mitigate fast enemy attacks.

Next, you should see a mountain with two beautiful bridges. Climbing the top offers a chance to obtain two chests. Take them and continue forward. You'll encounter another group of crow enemies. Killing them will also reveal chests nearby.

It's worth noting that the best way to deal with crow enemies is to spread them out as much as possible and then defeat them one by one. Individual crows are fragile and can be killed in one hit.

Buy New World Season 10 Nighthaven Coins At IGGM.com - Up To 5% OFF

From there, your mission is simple - nothing much to say: just head straight toward your destination, defeating all enemies you encounter and taking any chests that appear.

It's also worth noting that at the end of the route, you'll encounter a boss. This boss not only deals high damage, but also disables your Potion of Full Sight if you are killed.

Since chest runs are mostly team-based, you can help your teammates by diverting the boss's aggro after grabbing your own chests. This can be done by quickly returning to the boss and attracting his attention. You might also unlock additional chests along the way.

After defeating the boss, clear the surrounding area again, ensuring no enemies or chests are left behind. This concludes the run. If you have time, you can travel to other zones to continue your adventure.

    Tricks For Completing This Route

When dismounting and searching or avoiding enemies within a certain area, mastering some jumping or parkour techniques can help you complete the run faster, shortening your time in a particular area and completing the run as quickly as possible.

In fact, the new chest runs introduced in Season 10 are not difficult overall and can be completed even solo. The only challenge is the final boss.

In addition to the routes we've provided, you can also explore Nighthaven to discover more available chest runs routes, making each day of your New World farming full of new adventures! Have fun!

  • New World: Aeternum Season 10 Best Gear Farming Locations | AFK Spots, Elite Chest Runs & Catacombs Guide

    Posted: Oct 24, 2025

New World: Aeternum Season 10 Nighthaven features a significant overhaul of its equipment system. For example, the ubiquitous artifact greatsword from Season 9 has seen significantly less usage this season. With the overall power shift and an increased level cap, players are now looking for new locations to level up and farm better gear.

There are numerous locations for farming equipment in the game, each with its own advantages. Some are highly efficient, some are suitable for new players, and some are more suited to PvE. Let's take a look at each of these locations.

New World: Aeternum Season 10 Best Gear Farming Locations | AFK Spots, Elite Chest Runs & Catacombs Guide

    AFK Farm Spots

For busy players, AFK Farms are a popular option. Simply leave your character there for a few hours and return to receive a large stash of equipment. Fortunately, there are several AFK Farms to choose from. However, be mindful of the number of players in your area when choosing an AFK Farm. Avoid the areas with few active players (especially ones killing monsters), and you can't AFK in those locations successfully.

    Tower Of The Sun

Tower of the Sun is currently a popular AFK farm, primarily because it's suitable for beginners and features a high monster spawn rate. It primarily drops 2-perk gear. While the value of the gear isn't high, it's sufficient for beginners and early gamers. Jewelry is almost non-existent, so farming here is not recommended for mid- to late-game players.

    Mercy Readout

If you feel the gear in Tower of the Sun isn't enough for you, then Mercy Readout is your next farming location. It drops 2- and 3-perk gear, jewelry, and 700 GS upgradeable gathering gear.

Jewelry is currently in short supply, making this a great AFK location for those looking to earn New World gold. However, it also has a drawback: monster spawns are slow, making it inefficient. If you're not looking for jewelry, this location can be a real waste of time.

    Gorilla Farm

This farm is located on Isle of Zurvān. It also drops 2- and 3-Perk equipment, weapons, and armor, but no jewelry. Gorilla monsters are very numerous in this area, and the more players there are, the faster they spawn, making it almost guaranteed to yield equipment. This makes it the most recommended AFK farm for farming.

    Elite Chest Runs

Elite Chest Runs are one of the most common ways to farm items. Players can team up to search elite areas or fortresses to efficiently loot Elite Chests. In addition to dropping equipment with fixed perks, Elite Chests often also include materials and coins, making for very high returns.

Here are some recommended Elite Chest Run routes:

    • Cayo de La Muerte (CK Route): It has a consistent high density of chests, a good drop rate, and offers the chance to pick up Mystic Doubloons.
    • Nighthaven Route: This route has numerous Elite Chests, and you can also kill Vampires along the way.
    • Corrupted Monolith (MC Route): Elite monsters on this route drop fixed Perks, and the chests are densely distributed.
    • Eternal Pool (ET Pools Route): This route is short and yields relatively low amounts, making it suitable for speed farming.
    • Nightbreak Roost: A solo chest location that drops fixed gear, recommended for solo players.

Also, if you want to improve your farming efficiency, you can use some in-game items.

    • Potion of Fool's Sight: This item grants you two extra chests in Nighthaven ECR.
    • Luck Gear + Defiled Rabbit's Foot: Increases the chance of rare items appearing in chests.

    PvP Track Rewards

PvP Track Rewards feature extremely powerful gear, including 4-Perk Gear and Set Bonuses. Players can accumulate rewards through PvP modes (OPR, 3v3, etc.).

PvP Track rewards are comprehensive, allowing you to easily obtain top-tier PvE gear even if you don't play PvE content. However, you'll need to find active PvP players.

    Catacombs Dungeon

However, if you prefer PvE content over PvP, the new Catacombs dungeon introduced in Season 10 provides another rewarding alternative. The new end-game content for Season 10, allows three players to team up and explore a random dungeon and escape within 30 minutes. If at least one member of your team manages to escape safely, you'll all receive a reward.

Catacombs dungeon can drop Overcharge Set, which increases base damage by 15–25%. This set is a powerful build for boss fights and also includes two perk gear.

The more bosses you kill, the higher your rewards. Killing at least five bosses doubles your rewards. Additionally, you can trade Sterlings (dropped in Catacombs) for specific chests in certain locations.

    Which Gear Should You Keep?

Much of the gear you farm won't be needed, so you can sell it directly to vendors. However, it's recommended that you keep some of your more valuable gear:

You should keep jewelry, 3-slot upgradable gathering gear (700 GS), and weapons or armor with skill sockets that directly suit your build.

Prioritize weapons with ideal rolled perks (high damage/survival affixes). Especially weapons with one skill slot and one gem slot (suitable for specific builds).

Pure heavy armor and gear with useless affixes, as well as duplicates of common gear with low GS and affixes, can be disassembled and sold.

These are the main methods of farming gear. Regardless of which method you choose, you must first ensure you can defeat monsters or avoid being easily killed by them. When AFK, you can choose equipment with appropriate resistances, and when in ECRs, you should join a well-matched team to maintain high efficiency and high returns.

Each method has certain level and equipment requirements. If you don't have time to farm equipment, you can buy trusted New World coins from IGGM, skip the boring farming process, and use your coins directly to search the market for the best equipment or materials you need.

  • New World Season 10 Healing Builds Guide | Best Weapons And Mastery Tips

    Posted: Oct 23, 2025

Most of the time, New World players might assume that crafting offensive builds is more important and complex. After all, DPS roles are incredibly powerful, whether playing solo or in a group, making healer roles seem more limited.

But it’s important to acknowledge that if you’re playing multiplayer PvP or exploring dungeons with a group, a team without healers is simply fragile! The healing and special buffs provided by healers can ensure your entire team lasts longer in battle.

Therefore, if you’re not a staunch DPS or tanking enthusiast, we always recommend mastering the basics of healing builds. At least remember how to match weapons. If possible, it’s not too late to start learning in Season 10!

New World Season 10 Healing Builds Guide | Best Weapons And Mastery Tips

    Healing Build Basics

First and foremost, it’s important to understand that while Season 10 brings a lot of new content and general mechanics to New World Aeternum, there aren’t many new tips for healing builds. You should still keep a few basics in mind.

For healer roles, it’s crucial to avoid enemy attacks while healing. Therefore, it’s best to have a light equip loadout to avoid enemies and gain a 30% bonus to your healing output - a feature that medium and heavy builds don’t offer.

After ensuring this, the next key aspect to focus on is your weapon. This isn’t to say that armor or other aspects aren’t important, but your weapon is fundamental to your team’s effectiveness.

Overview Of Weapon Selection For Healing Builds

In Season 10, the best primary healing weapon available is still the life staff. It offers flexible builds, high burst and wide-area healing, and a personal defense boost that’s suitable for both PvP and PvE.

As for secondary weapon selection, the difference varies depending on PvP and PvE modes. Void Gauntlets and Flails are good choices for PvE, while Rapiers and Hatchets are suitable for PvP.

Compared to other seasons, the frequency of team-based PvE play in Season 10 has increased due to the addition of Catacombs and the raid Isle of Night. Therefore, we’ll focus on weapon selection for healing builds in a PvE context.

While the life staff’s healing effect scales with Intelligence, Intelligence itself doesn’t provide a healing bonus. Therefore, investing focus points in it will be more profitable, as it allows you to trigger additional buffs on your secondary weapon in PvE.

Typically, these buffs include increasing enemy damage or reducing armor, or increasing your teammates’ health and stamina, allowing you to play a wider role in combat as a healer, rather than simply restoring health.

    How To Develop Weapon Mastery?

The mastery system allows you to increase your weapon XP by using your current weapon, unlocking its own active or passive skill tree. The available mastery skill trees and the skills that should be unlocked based on different combat role builds.

If you’re planning to upgrade your healing builds, the first mastery skills you should unlock are those that directly increase healing through passive abilities. Other mastery skills should focus on reducing cooldowns or increasing health and armor.

Buy New World Season 10 Nighthaven Coins At IGGM.com - Up To 5% OFF

After that, you should decide which weapon mastery style to choose based on the weapons your DPS and tank teammates use. For example, players with bows and fire staffs aren’t suited to receiving full-area healing.

More specifically, the life staff has the following weapon mastery styles to help you decide which to use in combat.

    • Group Healing (Beacon): Provides a mix of area-of-effect and targeted healing.
    • Group Healing (Orb): Provides additional buffs.
    • Targeted Healing: Ideal for small-scale group fights.
    • AoE Healing: Utilizes continuous healing skills to heal large groups, making it ideal for large-scale exploration.
    • Splash Healing: Allows you to easily heal everyone around you.

The above is for the life staff. As for weapon mastery for PvE secondary weapons, taking Flails as an example, the following mastery skills are worth unlocking first:

    • Arcane Eruption: Drag Flails’ head to the ground, allowing you to burst arcane energy to hit enemies, dealing 120% weapon damage and two stacks of Impairment for 6 seconds.
    • Arcane Vortex: Swing Flails overhead, dealing four rapid hits for 75% weapon damage in a 3-meter radius. Also provides bonus healing.
    • Warding Bludgeon: Perform a spin jump, then swing Flails at enemies for 100% weapon damage.

As you can see, the primary purpose of a secondary weapon in healing builds isn’t healing, but rather providing bonus damage in addition to the triggerable passive buff. This allows you to protect yourself in combat, allowing your teammates to focus more on the fight.

What Artifacts Should Be Added In Season 10?

Regardless of your build, artifacts provide powerful additional benefits. While Season 10 adds several new artifacts, Nimble Coat remains the top choice for healers, and it’s now easier to obtain in PvP reward track than ever before.

This artifact’s most important perk is Highly Refreshing, which reduces skills’ maximum cooldown by 8%, allowing you to heal your allies more frequently during combat.

New World Season 10 Nimble Coat

Obtaining Nimble Coat is your ultimate artifact farming goal. On this basis, obtaining other artifacts is just icing on the cake, not an essential task. After all, acquiring any artifact in New World Aeternum is no simple task.

But remember the point we mentioned at the beginning: make sure any artifact you equip is lightweight, otherwise it could inflict negative effects on you.

That’s all for this guide. While a complete build requires more than just weapons, it’s the foundation for further refinement. We hope these tips will be helpful as you progress through your healer roles!

  • New World Season 10 Artifact Tier List | Best And Worst Artifacts After Nighthaven Update

    Posted: Oct 21, 2025

While New World: Aeternum Season 10 Nighthaven saw a major equipment overhaul, with changes to weapon perks and the addition of new sets, the good news is that artifacts haven't taken much of a hit and remain incredibly useful.

However, each artifact has received adjustments, and not all are as effective in Season 10. Some have become more useful in the current meta, while others have been dropped from the meta. Let's take a look at the winners and losers of artifacts in New World: Aeternum Season 10.

New World Season 10 Artifact Tier List | Best And Worst Artifacts After Nighthaven Update

    Winners

    Lifetaker

Although Lifetaker hasn't been tweaked, it delivers incredible damage in both PvP and PvE. Its stat bonuses (75% DEX and 75% INT) are superior to most regular Void Gauntlets, and its scaling is more efficient.

    Inferno

Inferno is very effective in the current Bursty meta environment, and the developers have fixed the scaling issue with its DoT scaling with Strength. It now deals even more damage, making it a great off-hand weapon for finishing kills.

    Boltcaster

Boltcaster had higher damage and burst in Season 10 than in Season 9, but it hasn't received any changes in Season 10. This may be due to hidden scaling changes or a bug.

    Blooddrinker

Blooddrinker's damage reduction has been reduced from 25% to 20%. Its powerful lifesteal makes it extremely useful in single-player content like catacombs. If you're a new player accustomed to single-player, it's recommended that you prioritize upgrading it with New World gold and materials.

    Old Crown

Old Crown received a complete overhaul in Season 10. It now uses three interchangeable gems and provides +6 stats, helping players reach the critical Capstone threshold, making it incredibly versatile and effective.

    Vengeance

Vengeance has had two issues fixed, and its passive has been reworked. It now increases outgoing healing by 25% while not affected by Life Staff's continuous healing. While lacking a gem socket, this has a relatively minor impact on healers.

    Koya's Knee Guards

Koya's Knee Guards now provide 13% all-around ranged damage reduction. With other defensive perks being nerfed, their value has increased, making them particularly effective against powerful bows and muskets.

    Freedom

Freedom's perk now provides up to 15% per piece. With a full set and this artifact, you can achieve up to 95% crowd control reduction.

    Creed Boots

Creed Boots' perk, Ambush, provides extremely high damage output, but comes with a high risk, as it lacks a gem socket and sacrifices defense. It's suitable for advanced players with a Glass Cannon build.

    Contagious Plague

Contagious Plague is a new artifact in Season 10. Its perk, Contagion, pulls enemies in and applies a poison DOT, making it incredibly annoying in PvP, yet incredibly powerful.

    Justice

This is largely because other artifact trinkets aren't as strong, while Justice's built-in Refreshment perk and gem socket make it a decent base for earrings. Therefore, it's a reasonable winner and can be swapped out for better trinkets.

    Djinn Headwrap

Djinn Headwrap remains excellent for stacking Vigor and Invigorated, making it easier to achieve.

    Aconite

While Aconite isn't as strong as the main item, it now works well with Inferno. However, Rapier has been nerfed, making it a less optimal pairing with Finisher.

Buy New World Season 10 Nighthaven Coins At IGGM.com - Up To 5% OFF

    Losers

    Ankh

In the current meta, the bonus healing provided by Ankh is significantly offset by the survivability loss associated with other amulets that grant more resistance. Unless the mechanics are changed, there's little reason to use it.

    Finisher

Finisher isn't weakened, but its passive now only applies to self-inflicted Bleeds, not those inflicted by allies. This significantly reduced its performance in Evade Rapier build, making it no longer a near-exclusive choice.

    The Abyss

Inferno does its job better, while The Abyss's passive is more complex, and its new 75% STR and 75% INT scaling makes it less ideal for other weapons, where pure intelligence builds previously benefited greatly.

    Void Darkplate

Void Darkplate has been moved from being a universal item for both Heavy and Medium armor to a specialized item. Due to the increased weight, the armor benefit it provides when using Medium armor is reduced. It is now primarily attractive to Heavy Bruisers, a niche build.

    Serenity

Serenity's core perks, Trenchant Crits II and Trenchant Strikes, now randomly appear on any Greatsword that drops in the wild. Regular Greatswords can now also have more traits, enchantments, and gem sockets, effectively ending Serenity's dominance.

    Endless Thirst

Endless Thirst provides Empowering Toast and Fortifying Toast perks, but lacks the Refreshment II perk. Given the importance of the new Refreshment II perk, sacrificing cooldown reduction for more potion healing isn't worth it in most situations.

    Crescent's Wave

Crescent's Wave was very powerful in Season 9, but its usage has dropped significantly in Season 10. This is due to the damage loss from the lack of a gem slot, combined with the nerf to its wave damage itself, making it less ubiquitous than it once was.

    Incinerating Hatchet

Although Incinerating Hatchet is a new artifact, it's poorly designed. This is because its built-in perks, Mortal Aggression II and Distained Infliction II, are both weak, and it lacks a gem slot. While its passive is interesting, it's not as practical as Freya's Francisca.

    All Shield Artifacts

Due to current game balance issues, Protection perks on shields apply even when you're using other weapons, making any shield artifact without these perks uncompetitive.

    Still To Be Seen

    Unyielding

In an environment dominated by Crit builds and Vicious perk, Unyielding's critical damage reduction may have potential, but it remains to be seen how players develop it.

    The Unmoved

The Unmoved is very powerful and underrated in PvE tanking, but Freedom is also very useful. You need to choose between knockback protection and high crowd control reduction.

    Nimble Coat

Nimble Coat provides valuable cooldown reduction, making it excellent for healers. However, other items offer better performance in specific scenarios, and its value depends heavily on the specific playstyle and meta.

    Attuned Leather Pants

It provides pure stats, but Old Crown generally provides more overall benefits.

    Tumbler Feetwraps

Tumbler Feetwraps have seen significant nerfs to their Empower and Fortify effects. While the health recovery from dodging attacks remains, it requires more precise execution to be effective, making them less competitive than Freedom.

    Grace

Grace gains a new effect: while in Haste, increases skill damage by 8%. This isn't a huge amount, but it has the potential to be further amplified with other gear.

    Featherweight

Featherweight has a new debuff, slowing its damage by 7% when stunned. While its damage reduction is still significant, this slowing effect may not be enough to completely eliminate it from the game.

    Phoenix

As an amulet, Phoenix doesn't have any protection perks. However, its resurrection effect could have a place in Assassin build meta, where one-hit kills are more important.

    Plagueherald

In Season 10, its self-inflicted diseases are more effective, but it does have synergistic potential with Bloodrinker, depending on how debuffs change in the environment.

This is a rough overview of the changes to artifact status in Season 10. There are still some artifacts' usage waiting to be discovered, so explore them if you're interested.

Regardless of whether artifacts are useful or not, it's recommended to collect as many as possible and prioritize upgrading GS of useful artifacts. If you're short on materials, IGGM is offering a wealth of reliable and cheap New World coins, which you can exchange for materials at the market.

  • New World Aeternum Nightveil Hallow 2025 Event Guide | How To Defeat Baalphazu & Earn Exclusive Halloween Rewards?

    Posted: Oct 16, 2025

New World Season 10 Nighthaven launched on October 13th. This expansion focuses on werewolves and vampires, likely due to Halloween being in October.

Although Halloween is the last day of October, the event will arrive before then. The popular Nightveil Hallow event will return from October 16th to 26th, and Baalphazu, the demon from another world, has once again arrived in Aeternum. Participate in the event to win various rewards!

New World Aeternum Nightveil Hallow 2025 Event Guide | How To Defeat Baalphazu & Earn Exclusive Halloween Rewards?

    Event Lore

Nightveil Hollow is a mysterious festival where ghosts and ghouls gather in the shadows. The boss, Baalphazu, Marquis of Terror, is a demon from Netherworld (a dark, twisted underworld ruled by nightmarish monsters). He was sent by his master to spread fear in Aeternum.

Three legendary witches, The Hexen Sisters, who settled in Aeternum, created the powerful Nightveil Cauldron, capable of dispelling the demon Baalphazu's Ichor. The player's goal is to collect enough demonic Ichor and place it in a cauldron, thereby weakening Baalphazu's influence over the world and saving Aeternum.

    How To Start The Event?

You need to go to any Major Settlements and then find a bubbling green Cauldron in the town center, marked by a pumpkin icon on the map, the talk to Salvatore the Mad near the cauldron and accept his quest.

To complete the quest, you must defeat Baalphazu for the first time. After defeating him, return and place Ichor obtained from the boss into the cauldron. Then, speak with Salvatore again to receive a Nightveil Cache as the initial reward.

    First Nightveil Cache Rewards:

    • 5 Nightveil Tokens
    • 2 random Nightveil Hallow weapon patterns
    • Access Nightveil Sentinel section of the event shop

    Finding And Defeating Baalphazu

    How To Find Baalphazu?

Baalphazu is a level 66 Elite World Boss. He is represented on the map by an icon with his portrait. If the boss is being attacked, a glowing circle will appear around the event icon. Possible boss spawn areas include:

    • Great Cleave
    • Edengrove
    • Mourningdale
    • Ebonscale Reach
    • Brightwood
    • Weaver's Fen

Searching for bosses is slow, so the most efficient way to farm them is to join a group organized through Recruitment Chat. Simply type "X WB" or "X Baalphazu" to quickly receive an invitation. While Baalphazu isn't difficult to defeat, it's recommended to be at least level 61, otherwise you might not be able to deal the minimum damage required to earn rewards from the boss.

    How To Defeat Baalphazu?

    Baalphazu Core Mechanics

Baalphazu's damage isn't high, but it has 23 million health, so you'll need to use mechanics to quickly reduce its health. At the start of the fight, several Crawling Pumpkin Mobs will spawn, ranging from level 55 to 60. Killing them will drop Pumpkin Heads. Picking up a Pumpkin Head and throwing it at Baalphazu will deal significant damage and reduce its Stamina resistance bar. When the stamina bar is depleted, Baalphazu becomes paralyzed and takes more damage, making this the optimal time to deal damage.

Gourdspewers and Calabashers, when killed, create healing circles on the ground and remove debuffs from players.

    • Calabashers: Regenerate 10% of maximum health per second.
    • Gourdspewers: Regenerate 5% of maximum health per second.

    Baalphazu Primary Abilities

    • Demonic Waves: Green circular waves emanate from the edge of the arena and move inward, dealing significant damage upon impact. Players can block or dodge these waves.
    • Vine Reach: Baalphazu rapidly extends vine arms toward the target of aggro. Players can dodge or block these waves.
    • Vacuum: The entire area turns green, sucking players toward the boss. Escape quickly or use defensive skills.

    Nightveil Hallow Event Rewards

    Baalphazu Drops

Each Baalphazu defeat will drop a number of items, but some items have a daily drop limit:

    • Armor (up to 5 per day)
    • Costumes (up to 3 per day)
    • Ichor (unlimited)

    Nightveil Cache

By repeatedly farming Baalphazu, you'll gain his drops, which can be exchanged for Nightveil Caches from Salvatore. Each time you open one, you'll gain:

    • 7-13 Nightveil Tokens
    • Random Nightveil Hallow weapon pattern
    • Coin Bag ( offer some New world gold)
    • Diamond Gypsum

    Costumes And Candy

You can also obtain costumes by defeating bosses or from cauldrons in various towns (note that these are limited-time items, with a maximum of three per day). These costumes allow you to transform into famous characters in the game:

    • Captain Thorpe
    • Adiana
    • Anubian Reaver
    • Lost Monarch

While transformed, you have 30 minutes to search for Hidden Treat Baskets around town. Opening these may give you:

    • Baalphazu armor: 10% chance.
    • Nightveil Tokens: Up to 3 per day.
    • Angry Earth Candy Fish: Transforms your character into a fish for 10 seconds.
    • Lost Black Licorice: Increases Luck for 5 minutes.
    • Corrupted Jelly Beans: Makes your character's eyes glow a corrupted red.
    • Ancient Grizzly Gummies: Increases the number of Nightveil Tokens you receive over a 5-minute period.

    Nightveil Tokens And Reward Shop

New World Aeternum Season 10 Nighthaven Pass Explained | Rewards And Leveling Guide

    Season Pass Details

New World: Aeternum seasons typically last several months, and players earn experience points (XP) by participating in various activities, which helps them level up their pass. Each level earns items, including New World coins, materials, and artifacts.

The pass is divided into a Free Pass and a Premium Pass, each containing 100 base rewards. Premium Pass requires 20,000 Marks of Fortune to unlock.

    Season 10 Pass Rewards Analysis

While there are many rewards in the pass, most aren't particularly useful. Let's take a look at the more important rewards in both passes.

    Free Pass

    • Hatchet Artifact: Reward for Levels 11-20, the only artifact in both passes. ( Premium Pass rewards do not include an artifact.)
    • 2,500 Marks of Fortune In Total: Marks of Fortune granted at each level, and they can be used to unlock Premium Pass or cosmetic items.
    • Transmog Token: Used to change the appearance of equipment. One is awarded at levels 51-60, 61-70, and 91-100.

How To Level Your Pass Fast?

Farming all 100 tiers of rewards can be quite tedious, so is there a way to unlock them quickly? Of course there is, but you need to efficiently complete Activity Card missions, rather than relying solely on Journey Missions.

Activity Cards are a mini-game similar to bingo cards, giving players a series of small objectives. Completing these objectives earns Season XP. You can earn additional XP by completing entire cards or rows, and you can complete tasks strategically or use stamps to complete them more efficiently. Completing Activity Cards is the primary way to level up your Season Pass.

    Preparation

    Tier 5 Items

Many players sell these items at Trading Post. If you're looking to save some coins, you can farm them by participating in Chest Runs and Expeditions at level 60 and above.

    Carry All Weapon Types

To complete the Kill 10 enemies with a certain weapon type quest.

    Vial Of Suspended Azoth

You can also obtain Vial of Suspended Azoth at Trading Post, but if you farm monsters normally, you should be able to accumulate quite a few. You'll need them to refresh Activity Card missions.

Season XP Booster And Housing Trophy

It boosts your Season Pass experience gain by 100% for two hours, while Housing Trophy provides a smaller, but longer-term boost.

    Efficient Activity Card Tasks

    • Salvage five Tier 5 items
    • Play two songs (can be completed while idle)
    • Kill two named enemies
    • Heal 5,000 damage
    • Kill 10 enemies of a specific mob type
    • Kill 10 enemies with a certain weapon type

    Other Optional Activities:

    • Earn Azoth Salt
    • Craft a gypsum orb (stock up on gypsum in advance and quickly teleport to Gypsum Kiln to craft it)
    • Gather 500 resources
    • Participate in a duel (can be completed in a group)

You should complete multiple tasks simultaneously whenever possible, prioritizing the easier ones. When you're unable to complete a current task, use Azoth or Vial of Suspended Azoth to refresh your task list. The most recommended location is Amrine Temple, as it's densely populated with low-level monsters and is not far from the player base, allowing you to team up with other players and share kill counts.

You can also use Wild Stamps to complete a row or diagonal line, earning additional free Wild Stamps. You'll receive one Wild Stamp for the first refresh of the daily event card. However, avoid completing a row of quests when you already have three Wild Stamps, as this would be a waste.

This is a rough guide to quickly completing Season Pass in Season 10. While it requires some preparation, it's still quite fast. If you're not focused on cosmetics, the Free Pass will suffice. If you like the new look and are interested in the new mounts, unlocking Premium Pass is also a good option.

Both Tier 5 equipment and Vial of Suspended Azoth can be obtained at Trading Post, but you'll need some gold or can farm it yourself. If you don't want to waste extra time on this, you can buy reliable and cheap New World coins on IGGM.

  • New World Season 10 Nighthaven Expansion: Tower Of Calomel Map Preview

    Posted: Sep 27, 2025

New World Season 10, Nighthaven, will launch on October 13th. It will be an expansion with medieval and vampire elements. Players are eager to see more news about Season 10, and the official release of a new map has been released.

Tower of Calomel is a brand new Outpost Rush map. A Gothic fortress nestled in the mists, it blends ancient magic and engineering marvels. Tower of Calomel's vertical and three-dimensional layout is significantly different from the two existing Outpost Rush maps.

New World Season 10 Nighthaven Expansion: Tower Of Calomel Map Preview

    Tower Of Calomel

Previews for Tower of Calomel have already begun, and players can try it out until September 30th.

    Map Design

As an Outpost Rush map, it still serves 20v20 matches. In this mode, you earn points by holding the stronghold and also by killing other players. The first team to reach 1000 points wins.

Rewards include an Outpost Rush reward pack, which contains specific armor and weapon parts, has a chance to drop an artifact, and guarantees New World coins, Azoth, and PvP experience. Rewards are typically higher for the winning team and are tied to your personal score.

Tower of Calomel is organized into three compact tiers:

    • Outer Battlements: Ranged characters have an advantage, but defenders are vulnerable to concentrated fire and flanking attacks.
    • The Inner Bailey: The core battleground, featuring height differences and bottlenecks, makes for intense and chaotic combat.
    • The Undercroft: This complex tunnel features twin mines, resource nodes, a corrupted portal, and the fearsome Baroness.

Central Keep, the main stronghold, features fortified gatehouses on either side, requiring teamwork to attack or defend.

    Tower Of Calomel Resources

Tower of Calomel combat revolves around multiple levels and strongholds, with resource acquisition and point capture equally important. Capturing twin mines and defeating Baroness boss can bring abundant resources to your team, while Corrupted Portals can aid your faction's offensive and defensive efforts.

    Tower Of Calomel Balance

Higher ground offers good visibility, but defense is vulnerable to flanking attacks. Defending a point requires allocating more players to protect ranged DPS, while opponents can access resources in Undercroft. This forces players to shift from one level to another and coordinate their attacks.

    Tower Of Calomel Review

Tower of Calomel is the third Outpost Rush map. Let's first examine the reviews of the first two maps.

    Classic Outpost Rush

As the first map, its gameplay is mature and its mechanics are well-defined, making it a familiar map for most players.

Its characteristic is the large number of open areas, making ranged characters more likely to prevail, while melee characters have a somewhat limited experience.

Furthermore, some players have reported that matches tend to favor one side, with more heavily armored PvP players assuming a winning position. Battles can sometimes become stalemated, but if one side is slightly weaker or less organized, the battle can become one-sided. However, for the sake of New World coins and rewards, the weaker side is forced to persevere in this difficult situation.

    Coral Divide

As the second map, Coral Divide features a vertical structure, which addresses many of the shortcomings of the first map. Its more compact layout means less time wasted on movement.

Furthermore, Coral Divide offers fewer routes and better vision control, preventing ranged characters from completely suppressing melee characters and allowing melee to play a greater role.

Compared to the classic map, Coral Divide requires more acclimation, and players may be outmatched if they lack proficiency in routing. Furthermore, the more complex paths can cause some new players to get lost.

    Tower Of Calomel

Both maps have their pros and cons, but this new map offers a completely different feel. First, Tower of Calomel's color scheme is very dark, and the fog can make certain elements difficult to see. It also appears to have optimization issues, resulting in more lag than the original map.

Second, its core feature is its complex structure and strong sense of hierarchy. The map is relatively small, but filled with undulating paths, climbing terrain, and ruined castle structures. This design makes the map feel chaotic and crowded.

The map's complex vertical structure also makes navigation difficult. The purpose of many areas is unclear, and the design of certain jump points and paths is difficult to guess. While, Hardcore Parkour perk may be very useful on this map, as climbing is very frequent.

The map has some excellent locations for long-range sniping. Building and operating a repeating crossbow turret on high ground can provide a significant firepower advantage, but controlling a stronghold (the lower capture point) does not necessarily control the higher ground, which complicates offensive and defensive strategies.

The neutral monsters on Tower of Calomel map are unusually concentrated. Due to the map's small size, monsters are stacked together, making clearing them faster and more dangerous, but also more chaotic.

While, Tower of Calomel's design is quite sophisticated, its overly complex vertical structure undermines the simplicity that the map's small size could have brought. Overall, the player experience may not be as good as Coral Divide for now.

Battles in Tower of Calomel are incredibly chaotic and complex, and due to the smaller map, the frequency and intensity of battles are increased.

In Outpost Rush mode, lacking sufficient gear can easily lead to a one-sided battle, becoming a key point for the enemy. If your gear isn't up to par, you can buy New World coins on IGGM.com to upgrade your gear and become a reliable member of your team.

  • New World Aeternum Season 10 Equipment System Changes And Catch-Up Guide

    Posted: Sep 25, 2025

New World Aeternum Season 10 Nighthaven will launch on October 13th. Changes to the upcoming season will be announced gradually, including new maps, new raids, new artifacts, and more.

The biggest impact on players will undoubtedly be the changes to the weapon system. It's confirmed that these changes will go beyond simply increasing weapon levels, with more complex changes expected, and these will undoubtedly dominate the meta for Season 10.

New World Aeternum Season 10 Equipment System Changes And Catch-Up Guide

    Season 10 Equipment Changes

    Gear Score

Currently, the upper limit for Season 9 Gear Score is 725. This cap will be raised to 800 and above. Existing gear (especially those with a rating of 700 or above) can be upgraded to 800 through the new system. Gear Score below 700 cannot be upgraded and will only have limited use in modes like Outpost Rush and Forts.

If you're looking to earn some New World gold in Season 10, you can stock up on the following materials needed to upgrade your equipment:

    • Goldcursed Coconut
    • Gorgonite Inductor
    • Chromatic Seals
    • Gypsum Orbs

    Equipment Attributes

Season 9 equipment came with basic stats like Strength and Agility. In Season 10, these inherent stats will be completely removed and no longer attached to the equipment. Instead, they will be acquired directly through character leveling, with level 70 being the new maximum level. The removed stats will be replaced with lower-quality perks, meaning the core value of equipment will no longer be in its attributes, but in new attributes and systems.

    Equipment Socketing Slots

Season 9 equipment only had one gem slot, but new equipment in Season 10 will utilize the new Charm socket system. Each new piece of equipment can have up to four slots, divided into three types: offense, defense, and skill.

Different charms can only be slotted into slots of corresponding types. The rarity of the equipment may determine the number of slots: 1 for green, 2 for blue, 3 for purple, and 4 for legendary. You can combine different charms based on your needs; for example, a tank might prefer a purely defense slot combination.

The fate of gems remains controversial, and they may be crafted into corresponding charms and slotted into new equipment slots. Alternatively, other methods (such as faction vendors) may be used to temporarily convert a charm slot into a gem slot. In short, the gem system will probably exist in a new form rather than disappear completely.

    Unique Effects

In Season 9, only artifact items offered unique effects. In Season 10, set bonuses were introduced. Some equipment (such as those obtained from raids, dungeons, or PvP) will provide set bonuses, with two or three pieces triggering a higher bonus, and four or five pieces triggering an even stronger bonus. Set effects may have greater advantages than artifacts, so the value and priority of artifacts may decrease in the future.

    Gear Perks

Season 9's gear consists of three fixed perks plus an additional bonus perk. The perk system for Season 10 Nighthaven will be significantly revamped, and new gear may also have infix perks, but these combinations might not be possible before, such as weapon skills appearing on armor. Whether every piece of gear will have infix perks is still undetermined.

How To Catch Up On Season 10?

Since Season 10 will be a major expansion with significant changes, many players have recently returned. So, if you need to catch up on Season 10, what should you do?

    Leveling Up

Since weapon attributes in Season 10 will be completely tied to your character's level, your primary goal should be to level up as quickly as possible and be ready to reach the max level 70 after the season update. This will ensure you unlock all the attribute points as soon as possible. Currently, it takes about 3 to 7 days to level up from level 1 to the max level for most active players.

    Gear

You can keep some old gear above 700 Gear Score. They can still be upgraded to 800 GS in Season 10 Nighthaven, providing enough for a transition in the early stages. However, don't waste too many resources upgrading old gear, as it will ultimately lack the new system's charms and set bonuses and will soon be replaced. Instead, it's more worthwhile to accumulate materials and New World Coins to prepare for crafting and inlaying charms.

As for gems and artifacts, there's no need to stockpile them in advance. Gems will probably become part of the charm system, but the exact mechanism is still unclear. As for artifacts, you can start by collecting the strongest and easiest-to-obtain items in the current version (especially those in Season 9 Pass).

You can wait until Season 10 to see which artifacts are the strongest and then collect them. And you can participate more in PvP to increase your PvP Track and obtain artifacts. While the strongest normal gear is in raids, so If you have the friends in game, it's best to challenge raids with them to obtain those gear.

This is a general overview of the Season 10 equipment system adjustments. In summary, players need to upgrade their characters to level 70 as quickly as possible to unlock new attributes, while also collecting materials and currency to prepare for the new runes and sets.

New World Season 10 Nighthaven is the first major expansion in months, packed with unprecedented content. While, it's vampire-themed–what could be more fitting for Halloween at the end of October?

If you want to experience all this content first but don't have the time to upgrade and gather materials, you can buy New World coins directly from IGGM.com. This will save you a lot of time and keep up with other players.
