The new banner event we're introducing to you, Whomping Willow Wonders, is themed after Whomping Willow, the magical tree at Hogwarts! So how do you play this event, and what rewards can you get? We'll tell you.
Whomping Willow Wonders Schedule
This event started at 1:00 AM on December 19, 2025, and will last until 4:00 AM on December 21, a total of 51 hours. It is expected to include two complete tournaments, as well as the beginning of a third tournament.
In addition, the ongoing Hogwarts Treasures event will end on the 21st along with Whomping Willow Wonders, so you definitely shouldn't miss the last wave of pickaxe tokens offered by the latter! Of course, other prizes are also very helpful for playing the game:
- 18,205 Free Dice Rolls in total
- 199 Pickaxe Tokens in total
- 1 Pink Sticker Pack at the 26th Milestone
- 10-Minute Cash Grab Boost at the 11th Milestone
- 15-Minute Builder's Bash at the 18th Milestone
- 15-Minute Color Wheel Boost at the 44th Milestone
- 40-Minute Mega Heist at the 50th Milestone
- 15-Minute Cash Grab Boost at the 57th Milestone
It's worth noting that although the rewards offered in this event are basically the same as the recently concluded Wizard's Chess event, the number of points you need to earn has increased, so be sure to invest more game time and effort!
How To Complete This Event?
During Whomping Willow Wonders event, the tiles on the board that provide points are those marked with a blue car icon; each one gives you 4 points.
The reason a car was chosen as the thematic element for this event is likely because in the movie Chamber of Secrets, Harry and Ron missed Hogwarts Express and chose to travel to school by Ford Anglia, only to accidentally encountering Whomping Willow.
If you're a fan of Harry Potter film series, this Monopoly Go event will definitely let you relive the fun atmosphere of the movies through gameplay - winter is always the best season to revisit Harry Potter!
Additionally, if you find railway tiles ahead on the board, you can also increase your dice multiplier to land on them as many times as possible. This will help you earn points in the ongoing tournament to unlock rewards.
