How To Find Teammates?
While Monopoly Go now allows solo participation in racers events, the rewards for solo first place are still less generous than those for team first place, based on recent months' reward lists. Therefore, it's recommended to complete the event in a team.
If you don't keep in touch with your old teammates, you can find someone new in Monopoly Go's recommended player list or by posting on the forums to attract other active Monopoly Go players looking for teammates.
The number of laps you complete each day and after the final depends on how many flag tokens you and your teammates earn that can be invested in Tycoon Racers. Only by consuming tokens can you roll the dice and move forward on the track.
If you don't form a team within the allotted time and don't choose to participate in solo mode, the system will automatically assign you teammates. Frankly, teammates acquired this way are likely unreliable, so it's crucial to form teams quickly.
How To Earn Flag Tokens?
How many laps you complete depends on how many dice you roll (and the dice rolls) using the flag tokens you earn, so naturally, the more tokens the better!

Win Daily Event Rewards
Monopoly Go not only launches new tournaments daily, but also ensures you always have a single-player event to play. During racer events, approximately 10 or more of these daily event milestone rewards offer flag tokens.
To earn them, you need to use your existing dice to move across the board and land on corresponding tiles to earn event points by playing mini-games or picking up pickups. The more points you accumulate, the more milestone rewards you unlock.

Monopoly Go updates three of these tasks every morning. They are easy to complete, and most will be solved during your daily events, so no extra time is required.
While Quick Wins tasks reward few tokens, consistently completing them daily unlocks bonus rewards on Sunday, earning you even more tokens! This is why the racers event always ends on Sunday.
Claim Gifts On Time
Monopoly Go in-game store updates with a gift every eight hours. While the reward is random, it may include flag tokens during the racers event. Since gifts don't accumulate, it's best to claim them on time.
