But when the pressure becomes unbearable, don’t panic, pass the ball back to your center back or goalkeeper in time. Remember, your opponent is chasing the ball, and you can use this against them. In simple terms, you need to move the ball left and right until the pressure decreases, then break through.

I must warn you that if you don’t know how to deal with pressure like this, pressure can become one of the most dangerous weapons in the game.

2. Seize The Opportunity To Pressure Your Opponent

On the other hand, maybe you ask yourself why the opponent can press you like crazy, but we can’t. How do they do it?

In reality, the aggressiveness of your opponents can be attributed to a combination of tactics and game mechanics, whether it’s defending high, full-team pressing, or aggressive player switching that makes you feel constantly under pressure.

It’s easy to use this pressure as a weapon, rather than a weakness, and it’s recommended that you set a high defensive line so that your defenders automatically suppress the opponent’s attackers, creating a constant sense of pressure. 5. Skipping The Buildup

But sometimes, the best way to break through the pressure is to skip the buildup completely, especially when we want to turn the situation around in an instant.

I must warn you, however, that while doing so can speed up the transition and attack speed, which may catch the opponent off guard, it also increases the risk of mistakes and reduces control of the game. Therefore, whether to skip the buildup depends on the specific game situation and your play style.

If the opponent is attacking and you have the ball, skipping the buildup allows you to quickly launch a counterattack before the opponent resets their defense. You can use Curve Through Ball as soon as you win the ball back, this technique makes the pass more curved and harder for defenders to intercept.

So the moment you win the ball back, the opponent’s midfield organization will gradually fall into chaos, the defense will move forward, and most importantly, they have not yet established their footing. At this time, you can attack.

Hold L2/LT, then aim diagonally and send a full-strength Curve Through Ball. If your player has a sharp passing style, this pass will have a higher success rate and speed.

This will form a fast curve ball that bypasses the defender and quickly passes it to your running player. This pass completely bypasses the pressure.

Why does this attacking style work? Because most players will respond to pressure with short passes or readjustments, but this pass punishes the attack, it absorbs pressure in the sprint phase and turns defense into direct attack.
