As always, in addition to adding new season mechanics, systems, and uniques, it also updates existing gameplay to enhance the experience. So, here's everything we know about Diablo 4 Season 10: Infernal Chaos Season:
New Season Story and Questline
Diablo 4 Season 10 stars the evil Bartuc, the Warlord of Chaos, who summons Chaos Portals and fires deadly projectiles. Players will delve into a new season questline, explore independent side stories, experience new Chaos powers and a reworked endgame mode, and earn powerful new and unique items.
New Seasonal Mechanics - Chaos Perks
New Chaos Perks function similarly to Horadric Powers, Boss Powers, and Vampiric Powers from previous seasons, allowing players to use borrowed seasonal powers to modify their skills, provide unique bonuses, or add special effects to your gameplay.
Chaos Armor
Chaos Armor, also known as Chaos Uniques, is an enhanced version of Unique Armor from Diablo 4. Chaos Armor includes new and existing Unique Armor with enhanced unique abilities and can only be used in armor slots that cannot be equipped with original Unique Armor.
Infernal Hordes Rework
Diablo 4 Season 10 significantly reworks the Infernal Hordes, introducing the new Bartuc boss and adding Aether Goblin invasions. This update also includes significant changes to Infernal Offerings, making all choices more targeted. Please note that these updates are permanent additions to Diablo 4, not just seasonal features.
Chaos Rifts
In the Season 10, Chaos Rifts are new, fast-paced, limited-time battles set in the open world, primarily in the Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons. Players will battle hordes of demons, collect Chaos Energy, and earn valuable rewards.
New Uniques
Season 10 continues with 6 new class-exclusive items, one for each class:
- Barbarian: Sabre of Tsasgal
- Druid: Kilt of Blackwing
- Necromancer: Gospel of the Devotee
- Rogue: Orphan Maker
- Sorcerer: Galvanic Azurite

Diablo 4 Vessel Of Hatred DLC
In this new expansion, you can experience a completely different gaming experience from the base game, and some features can only be experienced in DLC. Here are some new features that differ from the base game in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred expansion.
- New Region: In the expansion, a new explorable area called Nahantu has been added for players. Unlike many previous game areas in Diablo 4, this area is full of trees, but it is still full of blood, darkness and gloom.
- Runewords: In the unique changes in the DLC, you can choose more runes, and you can combine one Rune of Ritual and one Rune of Invocation to form Runewords.
- Mercenaries: Another unique DLC mechanism is the Mercenaries mechanism. In the expansion, you can unlock four Mercenaries and use them to help you complete some tasks or battles. Each Mercenary has its own skill tree and abilities.
- New Co-op Endgame Activity: The most special addition in the expansion is the addition of a new cooperative endgame activity, which allows players to cooperate to complete some dungeon explorations. The new dungeon is called Dark Citadel. There is also a limited-time dungeon called Kurast Undercity.
These new features and changes will definitely make the new Diablo 4 expansion Vessel of Hatred more interesting and more playable. IGGM hope to see you in the game!

What Are Diablo 4 Items?
Diablo 4 Items is just a general term for all items in Diablo 4. Players who are familiar with the Diablo series know that in the game, we can use various weapons, props, armor and cosmetics to enhance the character's strength and game experience.
There are many types of items in Diablo 4, including weapons, armor, trinkets, gems, aspects, and other consumables. These items have different qualities and rarities that affect their properties and effects. Here is some information about Diablo 4 items:
- The quality of items is divided into five types: Normal, Magic, Rare, Legendary and Unique, and the colors are white, blue, yellow, orange and purple respectively. The higher the quality, the higher the upper and lower limits of the item's basic attributes and affixes.
- The rarity of items is divided into three types: Nomal, Sacred and Ancestral, and the colors are colorless, silver and gold respectively. The higher the rarity, the lower the chance of an item being dropped, but the item is also more likely to have more or stronger affixes. Nomal Items can be dropped at the beginning of the game. Items of Sacred level are at least level 50 and will not be dropped until World Tier 3. Items of Ancestral level are at least level 70 and can only be dropped on World Tier 4.
- Legendary and Unique Items are two special item qualities that have unique names and appearances, and have one or more legendary affixes. The choice of affixes and the fluctuation range of Legendary Items are the same as those of Rare Items of the same strength, except that the number of legendary affixes is one more; while Unique Items are rarer, and all uniques will have at least one legendary affix among the optional affixes.
In addition to ordinary weapons, armor and accessories, Diablo 4 also has some special types of items, such as:
- Gems: There are many Gems that can be found and crafted in Diablo 4. Gems can be inserted into different types of gear slots and can give them different buffs. In general, Gems will provide offensive stats to Weapons, defensive stats to Armor, and resistances to Jewelry.
- Legendary Aspects: They are special modifiers for you gear that improve your character's skills and abilities, or add entirely new benefits. There are over 100 Aspects to unlock in Diablo 4 and each class has its own specific Aspects.
- Base Materials & Various Essences: They are important props for upgrading and refining affixes, especially legendary essences. The legendary affixes extracted by them will increase the ability of good rare items by several levels. But due to the extraction method, it causes they are difficult to obtain.
- Other Consumables: Different types of consumables have different functions. Potions and Elixirs are often used to restore health or mana, scrolls are used to increase attributes or effects, runes are used to summon allies or enemies, Incense is used to improve yourself and team members, etc.
What Are The Types Of Diablo 4 Items?
- General Items
Diablo 4 Item Rarity Levels
Not all items are created equal in Diablo 4, they are divided into color-coded rarity levels, and the rarity level of the gear and materials you obtain in the game is directly related to your game progress. Here are Diablo 4 item rarity levels and their corresponding colors:
- Normal - White: These are the most common items in Sanctuary, they do not have any unique or variable magic affixes or bonuses other than basic stat boosts.
- Magic - Blue: Not only do they have higher stats than normal items, but Magic items can also contain up to two affixes.
- Rare - Yellow: Rare items have a limited number of affixes, depending on the drop, they may contain 3-4 affixes to enhance various aspects of your character. Rare items with good affixes can significantly increase power in the early stages of the game.
- Legendary - Orange: They contain four normal affixes and an additional Legendary affix that is much more powerful than other affixes. Legendary items are usually dropped after clearing Strongholds or defeating powerful bosses, and both Legendary and Unique items are bound to your account and cannot be exchanged with friends.
- Unique - Gold: In addition to having four equipment affixes, Unique items usually have unique powers that cannot be obtained from other sources. They are usually class-specific skills and build items with unique appearances.
- Mythic Uniques - Purple: Mythic Uniques, also known as Uber Uniques, are the most powerful items in Diablo 4. These items always drop as an Ancestral gear with 800 Item Power and come with at least one Greater Affix, which significantly improves their properties.
Gear Set Items
- Weapons: This is the equipment used to deal damage to enemies and bosses. It is divided into different categories, and each has different basic abilities and random properties.
- Armor: Armor is composed of five types of equipment: Helm, Chest, Gloves, Pants and Boots. Each piece of armor can be equipped in its respective slot to provide defense, reduce damage dealt by enemies, and also provide different fixed and random properties that affect the player’s attributes.
- Jewelry: This refers to Rings and Amulets that the player can equip to gain passive bonuses. These items can be upgraded at Jeweler and can also be socketed with gems to further improve their properties.
- Rings: This is a unique accessory that provides extraordinary buffs to the player.
- Amulets: Amulets are equippable accessories that can provide various properties and bonuses to your character.
- Gems: This is a socketable item that can be equipped on Weapons, Jewelry, and Armor to enhance the character’s attributes and grant other buffs. There are seven types of Gems, each with its own unique effect, and can be upgraded to increase its effectiveness.
- Legendary Aspects: This is a unique attribute on Legendary items that can be extracted and printed on other rare or legendary items, giving them legendary rarity and its effects.
Consumables
- Potions: Players can use potions to restore health during gameplay, but can carry up to 4 potions at a time.
- Sigils: They are used to unlock and access Nightmare Dungeons, providing challenging content and valuable rewards.

- Currency: In Diablo 4, in addition to the main gold, there are some other companions with specific uses, such as Platinum, which can be used to buy appearances and battle passes, Murmuring Obols, which can be gambled at Purveyor of Curiosities, and Resplendent Sparks, which are used to craft Mythic items.
- Seasonal Items
Seasonal Powers - Boss Powers
Boss Power is a new seasonal mechanism introduced in Belial’s Return, which allows players to extract and use the power of defeated bosses. Each Boss Power comes from a specific boss and has a Main Power and a Modifier. Each player can equip 4 Boss Powers to improve attributes and strengthen equipment, including 1 Main Power and 3 Modifiers.
Lair Boss Keys
In Diablo 4, summoning bosses no longer requires consuming materials, but Lair Boss Keys are required when opening Hoards and claiming rewards after defeating specific Lair Bosses. Each level of Lair Boss (Initiate, Greater, and Exalted) requires a different number of keys to open the corresponding Hoards.
- Varshan: Malignant Heart x12
- Grigoire: Living Steel x12
- Beast in the Ice: Distilled Fear x12
- Lord Zir: Exquisite Blood x12
- Urivar: Judicator’s Mask x12
- Duriel: Shard of Agony x3
- Andariel: Pincushioned Doll x3
- Harbinger of Hatred: Abhorrent Heart x3
- Belial: Betrayer’s Husk x2
Power Upgrade Materials
Players can upgrade Boss Powers using Spectral Ash, which can only be obtained by participating in and completing Apparition Incursions. When the player’s Power reaches Level 3, Level 7, Level 12, and Level 17, the amount of Spectral Ash required for the upgrade will double, with each Boss Power having a maximum level of 20.
- Magic Boss Powers: 1,995 Spectral Ash
- Rare Boss Powers: 2,660 Spectral Ash
- Legendary Boss Powers: 3,325 Spectral Ash
What Lair Key Materials Are There In Diablo 4?
In Diablo 4, players can always obtain different materials by killing bosses, farming dungeons, or completing quests. Some of them are consumables to improve character abilities, but most of them are keys required to open Hoard dropped by Lair Boss. These Lair Boss Keys materials include:
- Stygian Stone: They can be converted into Lair Boss Keys for Greater Lair Bosses, including Duriel, Andariel, and Harbinger of Hatred.
- Betrayer’s Husk: After defeating Belial in Palace of the Deceiver, you can use 2 Betrayer’s Husks to open Belial’s Hoard.
- Abhorrent Hearts: After defeating Harbinger of Hatred in Harbinger’s Den, you can use 3 Abhorrent Hearts to open the treasure chest dropped by the boss.
- Judicator’s Mask: After defeating Urivar in Fields of Judgement, you can use 12 Judicator’s Masks to open Urivar’s Hoard.
- Malignant Heart: This key material for opening Varshan’s Hoard, 12 are required, and you can only find it at Malignant Burrow under Torment difficulties.
- Exquisite Blood: Used to open Lord Zir’s Hoard after defeating Lord Zir in Darkened Way, 12 are required.
- Distilled Fear: A key material for opening the treasure chest of Beast in Ice after defeating it in Glacial Fissure, 12 are required.
- Living Steel: Used to open Grigoire’s treasure after defeating Grigoire in Hall of the Penitent, 12 are required.
- Pincushioned Doll: After defeating Andariel in Hanged Man’s Hall, you can use 3 Pincushioned Dolls to open her Hoard.
- Shard of Agony: Used to open Duriel’s Hoard after defeating Duriel in Gaping Crevasse, 3 are required.
How To Find Stygian Stone In Diablo 4?
Currently, the only way to get Stygian Stone is to defeat Initiate Lair Bosses and open their reward chests. Afterwards, you can exchange these Stones for Greater Lair Boss materials from Alchemist.
How To Farm Obducite In Diablo 4?
Obducite is an essential material for crafting Masterworking gear in Diablo 4, so farming it effectively is the most important thing you can do during your exploration. Here are some recommended methods for you.
Infernal Hordes
After successfully defeating waves of enemies, you'll collect Aether, which you can use to unlock exclusive chests offered by this event. One of the rewards is Obducite gem fragments.
Note: The higher the level of Infernal Hordes, the more Burning Aether it will provide, and the higher the chance of Obducite in the chests you redeem. Therefore, try to find higher-tier Infernal Compasses in Nightmare Dungeons and The Pit; they are the keys to unlocking this event.
Nightmare Dungeons
Once you successfully run a dungeon using Nightmare Sigils of the corresponding level, you'll be rewarded with Obducite and other crafting materials.
In addition to the rewards after completing the run, you have a chance to obtain this important gem fragment from enemy drops and chests during the run.
In addition to regular Nightmare Dungeons, the newly added Horadric Strongrooms and Escalation NMDs will also reward Obducite for clearing them.
Kurast Undercity (Only in Vessel of Hatred DLC)
In this event, you can earn rewards by farming Tributes and Bargains and delivering them to specific vendors. To earn Obducite, you'll need specific Tributes of Refinement, which appear in Nightmare Dungeons or Infernal Hordes.
How To Obtain Runes In Diablo 4?
Runes are essential for creating a near-perfect Diablo 4 build, as they can be used to craft high-rarity items and significantly enhance your existing gear. Therefore, the following guide will provide you with efficient rune farming methods.
- Campaign Bosses: Your first kill will reward you with runes, but it's important to note that re-killing campaign bosses does not reward you with additional runes, so you can't farm them multiple times.
- Lair Bosses: These bosses also reward you with runes after defeating them. Most importantly, they can be farmed repeatedly. However, it's important to note that the loot chests they offer currently require materials to unlock, so be aware of their required quantities.
- Kurast Undercity: You can exchange a Tribute of Mystique or Tribute of Harmony for runes at vendors in town. Exploring with an Augment Cache of Attunement Rank 1 or higher will also reward you with runes.
- Seasonal Activities: Like regular loot, some Seasonal Activities, such as Infernal Hordes, Horadric Strongrooms, and Escalation Nightmare Dungeons, reward you with Runes upon completion.
- Tree of Whispers: In this fun loot-sharing system, you earn Whisper Caches by handing in a certain amount of Grim Favors, which have a chance to contain Runes.
How To Get Betrayer’s Husk?
- Defeat Mini Belial: Defeat Mini Belial in the boss’ lair to get Betrayer’s Husk.
- Open Whispers Caches: Completing Whispers of the Dead quest and opening the reward Caches also have a chance to get Betrayer’s Husk.
- Killing Treasure Goblins: Treasure Goblins encountered throughout the map also have a chance to drop these materials. However, because of the rarity of these Treasure Goblins, this method is not the most efficient way to get Boss materials.
- Season Journey Reward Chest: After completing Season Journey, you can also get various materials, including Betrayer’s Husk, by opening the chest reward, so make sure not to skip this step.
How To Get Abhorrent Heart In Diablo 4?
- Defeat Urivar: You can get Abhorrent Heart by completing the boss fight with Urivar and opening his treasure chest, but the prerequisite is that you need to bring 12 Judicator’s Mask as the key to open the treasure chest. I have to warn you though, Urivar boss is very powerful, and to defeat it you must prepare a powerful build!
- Challenge World Boss: After completing World Boss encounter, there is a chance that Abhorrent Heart will drop.
- Undercity of Kurast: Explore Undercity of Kurast dungeon and collect Tribute of Titans to have a chance to get Abhorrent Heart.
Best Way To Farm Judicator’s Mask In Diablo 4
- Complete Kurast Undercity: Completing Kurast Undercity quest is the best way to farm Judicator’s Mask, as this activity is directly related to farming this item.
- Tree of Whispers: After completing Whispers objective, you can open a treasure chest and have a chance to get Judicator’s Mask.
- World Bosses: After killing World Bosses, they have different chances to drop corresponding materials, including Judicator’s Mask.
- Mercenary Bartering: After reaching level 5 with any Mercenary, you can exchange for Judicator’s Mask through bartering.
How To Farm And Use Exquisite Blood In Diablo 4?
Exquisite Blood is a relatively rare resource in Diablo 4 that can only drop from specific activities. If you want to fight bosses repeatedly and unlock their treasure chests, you will need a lot of blood, and here are some ways on how to get Exquisite Blood.
- Blood Maiden Drops: The quickest way to get Exquisite Blood is to defeat the Blood Maiden in Helltide. You can summon her by finding an Accursed Ritual during Helltide and giving her 3 Baneful Hearts.
- Completing Legion Events: Once completed, Exquisite Blood has a chance to drop from Base and Mastery Chests you win.
- Defeating World Bosses: You can also earn a certain amount of Exquisite Blood by killing different World Bosses, and the drop rate of this method is quite high, but the downside is that the activity is time-limited.
- Opening Whisper Caches: Complete the Whispers of the Dead quest and open the reward caches, which have a chance to get Exquisite Blood.
- Killing Treasure Goblins: Clearing Treasure Goblins encountered on the map also has a chance to drop Exquisite Blood. However, since these Goblins are very rare, this method is not the most effective way to obtain this boss material.
- Season Journey Reward Caches: You can also get various boss materials by completing Season Journey and opening Caches. This will give you a lot of materials, so make sure not to skip this step.
How To Farm And Use Living Steel In Diablo 4?
Living Steel is the Lair Key material required to open Hoard of Grigoire in Diablo 4. You need a total of 12 pieces to open its Hoard and get all the loot. Let’s take a look at how to get these:
- Opening Tortured Gifts of Mystery: Living Steel can be obtained from any Tortured Gifts found in Helltides, especially Tortured Gifts of Mystery.
- Defeating Blood Maiden and Hellborne: Defeating Blood Maiden and Hellborne during Helltides also has a chance to drop Living Steel. You can summon her by offering 3 Baneful Hearts at an Accursed Ritual. Hellborne will randomly appear in groups of three near the player, so always be vigilant!
- Completing Local Events & World Bosses: Completing these events has a chance to drop it. Although these events are timed, the drop rate is really high.
- Killing Elite Enemies: Elites in Nightmare Dungeons have a chance to drop Living Steel. So try to clear any events that spawn a lot of Elites throughout the dungeon to make the most of your dungeon run.
- Clearing Treasure Goblins: Killing Treasure Goblins on the map is also a good way to earn it. However, Goblins are rare, so it is not ideal to focus on farming them to get boss materials.
- Getting Season Journey Caches: You can also get various materials by opening the caches of completed Season Journeys, including the rare Living Steel.
Mythic Uniques Farming Guide
Mythic Uniques are an extremely rare and low drop chance item in Diablo 4 that replaces the old Uber Unique system. To identify them in-game now, you will see a purple beam emanating from the item, contrasting with the gold-white color of normal Mythic Items.
When a Mythic Unique drops, you will notice that the item is extremely powerful. They always drop at Item Power 925. You can target farm the item by fighting some of the bosses added to the game.
You can usually fight bosses like Duriel and Andariel on WT4 to try to get Mythic Unique items. Additionally, they can drop from enemies in the world as long as the enemies are above level 55 on World Tier 4. You can also get them from all Tormented versions of endgame bosses. The new Infernal Horde mode can also get these Mythic Uniques as rewards from gear chests after running them to completion.
You can also choose to make a Mythic Unique for yourself. If a Mythic Unique drops something you don't want, you can disenchant it for its new currency, Resplendent Sparks. To craft it, you'll typically need 4 of these Resplendent Sparks and 50 million gold.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Ending Soon | Mother's Blessing & Seasonal Splendor Guide
With Diablo 4 2.5.0 PTR coming to an end at 11:00 AM on October 28th, it's time to take a break from the excitement of previewing Season 11 and focus on finishing up Season 10, especially with the game introducing two new events specifically for this occasion.
These two events are Mother's Blessing and Seasonal Splendor. The former is a long-standing favorite for all Diablo 4 loyalists, while the latter is a brand-new addition to Season 10 Chaos Perks mechanic.
Interestingly, both events coincide with Halloween 2025, but Diablo 4 doesn't seem to be planning any Halloween-themed events, either through these events or through additional new events, which may be puzzling.
With this in mind, we'll provide a detailed introduction to each of these events and analyze the lack of a dedicated Halloween Diablo 4 event.

Mother's Blessing For The End Of Season 10
Mother's Blessing is a recurring event in the game that occurs almost every season, typically mid-to-late in the season. It accelerates you to complete character leveling or Season Journey before the end of the season.
This Mother's Blessing begins on October 28, 2025. While a specific end date has not yet been announced, it will probably last for one to two weeks (a week is more likely).
During Mother's Blessing, you'll receive a 35% increase in XP earned from completing battles, and a 50% increase in Diablo 4 gold drops. This will help you level up your character or Paragon board faster and accumulate more resources.
Note: If you own buffs like Elixirs, you can use them simultaneously during Mother's Blessing. This will combine the benefits of both buffs, accelerating your progress through Season Journey and Reliquary Battle Pass, allowing you to unlock higher-level rewards.
Additionally, during Mother's Blessing, completing Tree of Whispers bounties will earn you bonus Gift of the Tree caches when you turn in Favors.
Seasonal Splendor Event
This event begins the same day as Mother's Blessing and is expected to end on November 3rd. Its purpose is to increase the amount of Infernal Warp you receive through battles during this week.
This item can be used to upgrade your Seasonal Power Chaos Perks. Exclusive to Season 10, you can equip up to four Chaos Perks of varying rarities per battle, boosting the power of your character and builds.
The more Infernal Warp you possess, the stronger your Chaos Perks and, ultimately, your character. To maximize the benefits of the Seasonal Splendor event, you should choose the most efficient way to farm Infernal Warp during this period.
Currently, you can obtain this item by finding Chaos Rifts spawning in Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons. Infernal Warp is dropped by monsters in rifts, and the rewards for sealing rifts also include Infernal Warp.
In Helltides, Chaos Rifts spawn randomly and can be identified and found by their icons on the minimap. However, this farming method is highly random and requires competition with other players, so Nightmare Dungeons are more recommended.
First, Nightmare Dungeons are privately created and cannot be entered by others. Second, when you add Infernal Warp Reserve affix to a dungeon, Infernal Warp is guaranteed to drop after the battle is completed.
Why Are There Still No Halloween-Specific Events?
In fact, not just this year, Diablo 4 has not held any special Halloween-themed events since its launch. Honestly, this is quite strange, as Diablo 4 already has many horror elements that are well-suited to Halloween, and it would be a shame not to utilize them.
Holiday celebrations not only enhance the festive atmosphere in the game, but also provide additional playable events and festive decorations to enrich your game collection.
Both the player community and developers have shared ideas and concepts for Halloween events in Diablo 4 across various platforms, most of which are quite interesting and definitely worth implementing.

The most famous of these was probably the Headless Horseman, proposed by Diablo 4's lead combat designer, Owen Leach. He envisioned this enemy, like Butcher, randomly dropping into Sanctuary during Halloween, offering both frights and rewards.
However, two years after its release, none of these ideas have been implemented into the game, which is a bit of a shame. But it's not just Halloween; while Diablo 4 holds a fair number of events annually, few of them embody the elements and atmosphere of the real holidays.
It seems that for Diablo 4, simply having an event to celebrate is enough; the event itself doesn't need to forcefully reflect the characteristics of a real holiday. Take, for example, Midwinter Blight event held last December.
While this might feel a bit unfortunate, from another perspective, it makes the game feel less connected to the real world and more distant, making every story about Sanctuary feel like it actually happened in another world, not just fiction.
Whether you agree with this or not, this is indeed what makes Diablo 4 unique. Every game should have something irreplaceable that makes it unforgettable, right?
Regardless of how Diablo 4 plans its Halloween season, you can't miss Mother's Blessing and Seasonal Splendor events. These events are about to start, so get ready! And Season 11 is expected to launch on December 9th!
There's no Halloween event for Diablo 4, but don't worry, IGGM has an exclusive Halloween discount for you! Until November 5th, use the holiday promo code "HW2025" to enjoy 8% off IGGM Diablo 4 products!
Diablo 4 PTR 2.5.0 Mythic Item Changes | Full List & Buffs
Diablo 4 PTR 2.5.0 will bring a host of dramatic yet exciting changes, revising many fundamental aspects of the game, including armor and potions. As the pinnacle of the game, Mythic items are also receiving some buffs.
Knowing that not all Mythic items are useful, will the adjustments in Season 11 make some previously useless Mythic items useful again? Let's take a look at the core changes they've received in PTR.

Melted Heart Of Selig
- Change: Added an effect that increases your primary resource by 3% per point in your primary stat.
This is the most impactful item change of the season, as it grants all classes a mana shield-like effect, allowing you to treat your resources like a second health bar.
Since late-game characters typically have around 2000 primary stats, this represents a 6000% increase in the resource cap. Combined with the base resource attributes, your resource pool can easily reach tens of thousands of points. However, items will first use resources to absorb damage. You need to maximize resource generation and utilize out-of-combat resource recovery mechanics or immunities to keep the resources at a healthy level, or you will be very vulnerable.
Many of the percentage-based recovery and resource consumption effects listed in the patch notes have been capped to prevent them from being overpowered or completely incompatible with Melted Heart of Selig.
Ahavarion Spear Of Lycander
- Changes: Unchanged.
While it hasn't received any changes, it is a beneficiary of the Season 11 defense system changes. With the new defense system's uncapped resistances, the all-resistance and movement speed bonuses provided by Ahavarion Spear of Lycander have become more valuable.
Furthermore, its Lucky Shot recovery of 66% of primary resources modifier has not been nerfed. If your build relies on Lucky Shots, Melted Heart of Selig and Ahavarion Spear of Lycander will provide a next-level survivability boost. This item has great potential for speedrunning low-level The Pit or Torment IV, but may not be useful for high-level The Pit.
Shattered Vow
- Changes: Increased the duration of damage over time from 44% to 111%.
Shattered Vow acts as a direct damage multiplier, especially for spells that consume DoTs, with virtually no downside.
This significantly improves Spiritborn builds (such as Pestilent Swarm and Touch of Death). Barbarian builds with Rend or Bleeding may also consider using this item, as Barbarians have more weapon slots.
Tyrael's Might
- Changes: Updated the All Resistance attribute to +80 All Resistance, and changed the resistance percentage to Maximum Resistance.
Tyrael's Might is expected to become a top-tier defensive item. Combined with the new system, it significantly increases resilience to elemental damage. Furthermore, officials indicate that there will be stronger monsters, longer encounters, and a slower game process - all those will make this type of pure defensive item more valuable.
Andariel's Visage
- Changes: Removed the inherent poison resistance reduction and increased the maximum poison resistance to +666 poison resistance.
Andariel's Visage's exceptionally high poison resistance makes it nearly immune to poison damage, and its health-on-hit modifier has skyrocketed in value in Season 11, with the overall healing nerf. It provides powerful instant regeneration for multi-attack builds.
Furthermore, with the nerf to Masterworking, the attack speed and strong regeneration provided by Andariel's Visage are less than before, which will narrow the gap between it and Harlequin Crest.
Ring of Starless Skies
- Changes: Unchanged.
Due to its excellent and versatile stats (core skill damage, attack speed, critical strike chance, and resource cost reduction), it remains a top-tier pick. While Masterworking nerfs have reduced its absolute stat boost, its position remains strong.
Doombringer
- Changes: Unchanged.
The bonus health and damage reduction provided by Doombringer, along with its special Lucky Hit heal, are invaluable in the current heal-scarce meta. Doombringer is a solid choice for solving defensive problems, especially in hardcore modes or scenarios where survivability is crucial.

Heir Of Perdition
- Changes: Unchanged.
Heir of Perdition remains a top-tier helm. However, like Ring of Starless Skies, it has been impacted by Masterworking nerf, causing it to lose ground to other Diablo 4 mythic items.
Harlequin Crest
- Changes: Unchanged.
The damage reduction, + All Skill Levels, and armor provided by Harlequin Crest are all valid in Season 11. However, with the nerf to Masterworking, its cooldown reduction stat won't reach its previous maximum. For builds heavily reliant on cooldown reduction, it may revert from a game-changer to a very powerful item.
Shroud Of False Death
- Changes: Unchanged.
The +1 to all passive skills provided by Shroud of False Death is extremely powerful, typically providing a 50-70% damage increase and a host of utility and defensive stats.
While its resource generation and all-stat affixes synergize well with Melted Heart of Selig, some builds may opt for Tyrael's Might for ultimate defense in extremely challenging situations.
The Grandfather
- Changes: Unchanged.
The Grandfather grants a 100% increase in critical hit damage, but this effect requires 100% critical hit chance to fully function, which is more challenging given the increased difficulty of stacking critical hit chance in the new patch.
When a player's gear has reached its peak through Divine system and can no longer be improved through unique items, The Grandfather, a Diablo 4 item with excellent stats and no conflicts, may be the ultimate upgrade.
Nesecem, The Herald
- Changes: Unchanged.
While Nesecem, The Herald appears powerful, its performance is anything but. Its effect only marks one enemy, making it practically useless in combat. Furthermore, it's a two-handed weapon, requiring two slots, sacrificing significant damage to use it, making it practically unsuitable for Spiritborn builds. However, it's not entirely without value. If you're planning to buy Diablo 4 gold, selling it could net you hundreds of millions of gold, though it won't be as valuable as the other items.
Diablo 4 PTR 2.5.0 changes have successfully increased the value and usability of most Mythic items. While Nesecem, The Herald remains a minor drawback, overall, players will have more meaningful choices when building their gear, and you can test it out on PTR.
